As guests arrive at Salt Lake City International Airport, , where they will meet an official tour guide in the baggage claim area. From there, they will transfer to the hotel for check-in.

Depart from Salt Lake City in the morning for a brief city tour featuring the Utah State Capitol and Temple Square. Continue to the shimmering Great Salt Lake to take in its vast, otherworldly shoreline. Travel north into Wyoming and enter Grand Teton National Park, where jagged snow-capped peaks rise above lush valleys and meandering rivers. Stop at Jackson's Elk Antler Arches for a classic Western photo opportunity. Journey onward to Yellowstone's south entrance and explore West Thumb Geyser Basin.

Utah State Capitol (Outside Visit)

West Yellowstone - Yellowstone - Cody (338 miles)
Full-day geothermal exploration begins at Norris Geyser Basin, Yellowstone's hottest and most dynamic thermal area. Continue to the colorful Fountain Paint Pot, then witness the reliable eruption of Old Faithful. Walk the boardwalk to Morning Glory Pool, marvel at the rainbow hues of Grand Prismatic Spring, and end at the bubbling Mud Volcano - a raw display of volcanic forces.

Norris Geyser Basin
Yellowstone National Park is full of areas like this - geyser basins - large, open areas where geothermic pressure from below the ground's surface force up various geysers and springs. The Norris Basin is one of the more accessible.

Fountain Paint Pot
Fountain Paint Pot, heated by the region's underground hot springs, F.P.P is half hot spring, half mud basin. The spring releases natural shades of red and yellow because of the oxidation of iron in the soil.

Old Faithful Geyser
Old Faithful is a cone geyser in the Upper Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park. It is one of the park's most well-known natural features, and is famous for its predictability. It generally erupts every 91 minutes.

Morning Glory Pool
This hot spring in the Upper geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming is famous for it's bright red-orange and blue-green coloring. These colors come from the bacteria which inhabit the geyser's interior.

Grand Prismatic Hot Spring
The third largest hot spring in the world, the Grand Prismatic Hot Spring gets its color from bacteria around its rim that feed off of the mineral-rich water. In the summer months, the hot spring is a vivid red-orange shade.

Mud Volcano Area
The Mud Volcano blew itself apart in the early 20th century, but visitors can still see the impressive crater and other geothermal features in the surrounding area, such as the Mud Cauldron, Black Dragon's Caldron, and Dragon's Mouth Spring.

Day 4:
Cody - Yellowstone - Gillette (327 miles)
Traverse sweeping grasslands and ancient forests as bison and elk roam freely along the way. Visit Fishing Bridge and scenic Yellowstone Lake, then continue to the Artist Point for iconic views of the Lower Falls and colorful canyon walls, and witness the powerful cascade of the Upper Falls. In the afternoon, depart the park and journey through the majestic Rocky Mountains, where snow-dusted peaks, forested valleys, and cascading rivers paint a timeless Western landscape. Keep an eye out for wildlife along the route. Arrive in Gillette for an overnight stay.

Fishing Bridge
Located near the mouth of the Yellowstone River, the Fishing Bridge is a great location to spot the native Cutthroat trout. There is an RV park of the same name nearby.

Upper Yellowstone Falls
Located a quarter-mile upstream of the larger Lower Falls, the Upper Yellowstone River Falls plunge 109 feet down an eroded lava cliff into the basin below. The area below the falls has been subject to heavier erosion than above.

Artist Point
Named after the famous sketches of the waterfalls by Thomas Moran (but not actually the location where the sketched were done) this beautiful location showcases one of the most famous views in Yellowstone National Park.

Yellowstone Lake isn't just the largest single body of water in Yellowstone National Park, but the largest elevated freshwater lake in the US. The lake contains several underwater hot springs that melt its otherwise thick ice sheets in the winter.

Start the day at Devils Tower, America's first national monument. Continue to Mount Rushmore, featuring the carved faces of four U.S. presidents. End with the Crazy Horse Memorial, the world's largest mountain carving honoring Native American heritage. We'll transfer to Denver International Airport.

Devils Tower, WY
The first declared United States National Monument. It'is an igneous intrusion or laccolith located in the Black Hills near Hulett and Sundance in Crook County. A monolithic rock formation that rises 1,267 feet above the surrounding land and was once the neck of an active volcano.
Devils Tower National Monument
This massive monolith in the Black Hills of Wyoming was the nation's first national monument, anointed by Teddy Roosevelt in 1906. In recent years, climbing the rock has become popular. The stone column is considered sacred by many Native Americans.

Mount Rushmore National Memorial, SD
This famous United States monument in the Black Hills of western South Dakota depicts the busts of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln. The 60-foot tall statues are carved right into the side of the mountains.

Crazy Horse, SD
Crazy Horse Memorial is the world's largest sculpture-in-progress, and frequent drilling and mountain blasts make each visit unique. When completed, Crazy Horse Memorial will stand 563 feet tall by 641 feet long.
Crazy Horse Memorial
This in-construction monument to famous Native American war hero Crazy Horse is currently being carved into the side of Thunderhead Mountain in the Black Hills of South Dakota. The completed sculpture would be the largest in the world.
