Cover all the places on time. Very well organized.
The tour seems shallow and all the places shown were just too commercial. I thought that's how the tour is supposed to be but then I went to other tours and they were much much better than this.
Everything about this tour was amazing except for Lombard St. It's 4 blocks straight up hill and nothing up there except a curvy road. If they had something instead of Lombard St, I would have rated them 5 stars.
This was a good tour, thank god for no rain on that day.I was accommodated in one of the alternate dates, that was kind of our tour guide and company. The tour guide was fun, humorous and shared many interesting facts about SFO city and its way of life, making it enjoyable. The sights were great.
The Tour was Good. Right on time and at the Location specified. Took to main spots/Places. The Tour Guide Mike was Good and elaborated all location with its Historical Value. Stronlgy Suggest to go for it. Fisherman Wharf was a Great Experience along with the visit to the Golden Bridge. Lombard Street was a True Climb :)
I can't thank enough for this "TakeTours", had a great time, very organized, friendly, courteous, our tour guide Raven was absolutely awesome, I have referred all my friends and families, in fact one of our family is taking the tour tomorrow at San Francisco, very happy and looking forward for more, thanks again and I would rate 5 Star!!
I took the one day tour to SFO and it was really good experience, worth for the money. It was well organised and the guide Teri was very friendly and nice. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see SFO.
The company is real and trustful. Were punctual, the bus was in good conditions and the driver was trustful as well. I enjoyed the day and the number of stops and time allocated for each stop was fine. The price is very good comparing with other tour companies. The tour guide was a nice person.
PS. It's important to receive more information about what you see or where you are. Ex. history, dates, places, etc.
The tour was very well organized and on time. Will definitely recommend this tour, in case one wants to cover most of the places in a day. Ample of time is given as well. The tour guide was very informative. The commute was comfortable as well.
The tour was good, considering visiting many places in a 1 day. Since i took this tour on a holiday season, tour was over much ahead of time (due to almost no traffic).
We covered all the planned places on time. I think Golden gate bridge and Fisherman's Wharf needs a little more time than it is planned. Since out tour was over before 4pm. It could be better, if at-least 15-30 minutes can be spent on these 2 places.
Overall it was a nice tour to join.
Our tour guide was very patient. I can really say he did some research about the history of the places we visited. I always recommend everyone to book 'Taketours' whenever they want to go for vacation. It is really easy, cheap and for sure you will enjoy it.
I did not wanted to drive to SF on Monday, so I booked this tour from Milpitas to SF for me and my 2 friends. They took us to main places in the town. This tour saved me from all the driving and parking headaches and gave me break to enjoy the weather and places with my friends. The driver was very friendly.
I suggestion, each passenger should pay the guide and driver their tips. The workers in USA depend on it for their living unlike Europe and other places where their wage is enough for living, but, not in USA.
I had booked my parents on a trip via Take Tours. They were traveling to SFO on their own and wanted a way to see all the major tourist destinations. Bruce, the tour guide was wonderful. My parents were delayed getting to the pick up point however Bruce waited to pick them up. At them end of the trip he even helped them get a taxi back to their hotel. My parents had a great time on the tour and they especially enjoyed the cruise. We'd definitely book a trip through Take Tours again
The tour was very well organized. The bus conductor she was knowledgeable and pointed out important landmarks. She also kept checking that all were in bus before asking the bus driver to start. Safety and security was very evident. She also shared some good jokes and kept us in good spirits
The bus tour was wonderful " a lovely bus, clean & comfy; the tour girl was awesome! Shared so much, made it funny, informational - she is a great guide. We hope everyone could get her & we hope the tour company realizes what a valued employee they have! Recommend to anyone/everyone!
Even though it was a foggy day, our tour guide Bruce made the day most entertaining and enjoyable...saw the sights we wanted and a few we were really excited about...Lombard Street!! Take the Bay cruise too...totally worth it and still time to enjoy a shrimp cocktail on Fisherman's Wharf! Guide was fluent in multiple languages and didn't leave anyone out!! Driver was experienced and always felt safe!! Great way to see San Francisco for my first time! Pick up point was easy to find as well!
Tour was nice, with lots of pickup options and guide made sure to speak in English. Only thing i would suggest is giving time to the places that actually need it like fisherman wharf because ppl can get late because of delay in cruise. :)
The tour was organized. we covered almost all the places mention in the tour description with the ample time at each stop. I would recommends to extends this tour till late night at least 9:00 PM. But overall very good exp. Tour guide was good to explain each spots in detail. so it's fun trip to have with.
I was only in San Francisco for a couple of days for business and I wanted to see as much the famous sites as possible but I did not have a rental car. This tour was PERFECT because I was able to see everything I wanted in one day. The Golden Gate Bridge is awesome and I got to do all my shopping along Fisherman's Wharf. The scenery is beautiful! Now I know why San Francisco is such a famous tourist attraction.
This tour is recommended for someone who is visiting SF and wants to cover many important points in a day. For those who can travel to SF anytime, they can probably do things in leisure. Also take the cruise, it's really good experience.
It was really good. All the destinations were covered as per the schedule.
The tour guide was equally giving very useful information about San Francisco and its most attractive places.
I loved the Golden Gate Bridge and the bay cruise.
The tour was okay. The tour guide kind of memorized the information about all the sites from Wikipedia. They stopped at all the sites except Golden Gate Park. I wish they would have stopped there at least for 30 minutes.
This tour was good but had a rocky start due to smashes delaying the driver and he picked us up 20 minutes late. This meant the tour was a little rushed to catch up. On the whole the tour was okay, even though we missed one of the destinations, and the tour guide/driver tried very hard to give us time to see the various locations.
It was well organized tour covering all important landmarks. The tour company were professionals and tour guides were good in explaining in English and Chinese. I had just finished the 7 day West Coast tour with them, and they did a great job in terms of places, hotels, keeping time, etc. Vegetarian food at Chinese restaurants was surprising :) I have recommended them to my relatives in the U.S. as well.
It was a very well organized guided tour. I especially liked the fact that we were on time at all the spots. Golden Gate Bridge/Ferry were the highlights. But there was a small confusion on the ticket for toddler in the ferry. I was initially made to pay $20 for his ticket. I pointed it out to the guide and she was courteous and took the ticket back. But when I was in the queue, I was asked for his entry ticket again. They said I need not pay but will have to get a ticket. My guide was standing right there and she gave me one of her tickets as it was impossible to stand in the queue to get his free ticket. But later I was asked to pay $20 for his entry ticket, even when the ticket checker at the ferry said its ferry entry for kids of his age and only a token is required.
Apart from this little confusion the tour was excellent . The guide took us across the TenderLoin street explaining the history of the street which was very interesting. It also serves as a caution for the folks who are very new to the place and might plan to spend a day or two.
I would not hesitate to try the tours again. Thank You!
For a one day tour, we covered most of San Francisco. The tour guide made sure we were informed of what is to be done sequentially so we did not miss anything. Covered almost all of the points in the itinerary.
This was my first time in the USA. San Francisco is awesome. My tour experience is overall good. But only thing I was unsatisfied with was timing. They gave very less time to visit places. E.g. they gave only 30 minutes for the Golden Gate Bridge, which is very very less. They also dropped me at my location (San Jose) at 5:20 PM, which is almost 1 hour early.
I'm writing this according to my sister's experience. She had her 1 day San Francisco Tour yesterday, and she told me that she enjoyed every minute of it. She said the driver was very goo,d and has a good sense of humor. The only problem was that the bus was late and she had to wait outside for more than 30 minutes. But other than that, she had a blast. Thank you!
I live in San Jose, and had a friend up from Los Angeles. We decided to go to San Francisco and leave the driving to someone else. Totally enjoyed the tour. We have been to San Francisco many times before, but saw some places we haven't been to, like Twin Peaks. Wow, the view of the city was fantastic! Loved it!
Overall the trip is good, just loved it. But one day is not good enough to see all the places in San Francisco, you definitely need to take a day or more to view all the places. Guide was good providing all the information related to the tour.
My mom and I absolutely enjoyed this tour! Even though we felt the tour was a little rushed, we understood that it was because of the large crowd. The tour guide did his best to tell us about each place that we went to, and he was pretty detailed about it.
The tour guide was very helpful. The timing of the tour was a bit rushed but I was happy that all key landmarks were filled with joy and excitement. I took a cruise and strongly recommend to all. In addition, we finally managed the time well to see Lombard Road where some of our group had an opportunity to walk up the nice small hills.
Tour as good and well managed. But there are few points for improvement.
1- Language, guide should first explain every thing in a common language i.e. English then should translate it into any other foreign language.
2- Bus driver/guide can't resist people to use washrooms inside bus just because then they have to clean it before leave the bus
I like this trip because they took us to a lot of places in San Francisco, e.g. Twin Peaks (Very gorgeous!), Golden Gate Park (millions knowledge here!), Golden Gate Bridge (So huge!), Fisherman's Wharf (I totally love fried fish there).
The trip was well organized with the best use of time. we covered all the places listed in the brochure with ample time at each stop. wish this tour was longer (until late evening) to cover more exciting san francisco. we had fun! thanks.
