Day 1: Arrival in Toronto

Arrive Pearson International Airport in Toronto, and transfer independently to your downtown hotel. Pick-up your Canada Roadbook at the front desk as you check-in. Remainder of day is at leisure for shopping at the Eaton Center or perhaps sampling the fine cuisine and nightlife of Toronto. Overnight in Toronto.

Day 2: Toronto

Today, guests will embark on a comprehensive sightseeing tour of Toronto, during which they will experience the sights and sounds of the city as they explore downtown and a few of the residential neighborhoods. The highlights of the day include the Eaton Center, both the old and new City Hall, Casa Loma, Yorkville, and the University of Toronto. They will also pass by the Rogers Center, the CN Tower, and the harborfront.

Today, we will leave Niagara Falls and drive to Kitchener, ON. This rural region is home to the University of Waterloo, Wilfred Laurier University, and Conestoga College. It welcomes over 600,000 visitors each year to its Oktoberfest celebration. It is the gateway to the Grand River Valley, renowned for its natural beauty and local watershed conservation areas. There are over 30 miels of community trails for hiking, jogging, cycling, or bird-watching. This is where we will spend the night.

Day 5: Kitchener - Midland (216 km)

Leaving Kitchener, guests will travel north to the shores of Georgian Bay, venturing into the heart of central Ontario and the rural town of Midland, the gateway to the picturesque Thousand Islands region. Founded by Jesuit pioneers, Midland offers visitors a rich diversity of historical and natural beauty to admire. The day will be filled visiting Georgian Bay Islands National Park, the Huronia Museum and Indian Village, Huronia Historical Parks Discovery Harbour, Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre, and the Martyrs' Shrine.

Day 6: Midland - Pembroke (377 km)

Venturing east from Midland, guests will come to the Ottawa Valley Region, home of Pembroke. Guests should take some time to explore the vast wilderness of Algonquin Provincial Park, renowned for its hiking trails and canoe routes. Guests will spend the night in Pembroke.

Day 8: Ottawa -Tremblant (115 km)

Day 11: Quebec City

Today you will explore the historic and modern Quebec City on a morning sightseeing tour. Quebec City is the only city in North America with city walls and gates earning it a United Nations World Heritage Site distinction in 1985. Discover the historical treasures and wonderful "joie de vivre" atmosphere of Quebec. Your guide provides narration while you see the Latin Quarter, the Plains of Abraham, the Fortifications, the National Assembly, Place Royale, the Basilica and many more points of interest. The rest of the day is at your leisure to further explore the city or indulge at one of the many fine restaurants. Overnight in Quebec City.

Day 12: Quebec City to Montreal (262 km)

Departing from Quebec City we will drive along the St. Lawrence River in the footsteps of the early settlers. Upon our arrival in Montreal, we will tour the second-largest French-speaking city in the world. This dynamic city of Montreal encapsulates the two founding cultures of Canada and boasts a curious blend of history and modernity. Touring the downtown area we will view the Olympic Complex, charming Old Montreal, McGill University, the residential streets of Mount Royal and the bustling shopping streets. This evening, we can embark on an optional dining excursion and experience "Montreal by Night", a scenic trip out on the town to one of the city?s traditional restaurants. We will stay in Montreal overnight.

Day 13: Montreal - Gananoque (257 km)

Leaving Montreal, guests will drive west across the border into rural Ontario. On their way, they will pass through the beautiful Thousand Islands region, where they can take a boat tour of the area that takes them past Boldt Castle and Millionaire's Row. They will spend the night in Gananoque.
