tours and everything
My son and I have signed up for the three-day. Miss Lai helped me to complete the participation as well as I did before. Thanks to Miss Lai for her many years of service. The three-day tour was very satisfying. Specially thanks to tour guide Danny and driver Wendy for their reputation. From the preparation before departure to every detail Danny helped me think of it. Thanks again Danny and Wendy for their dedicated service!
I admire Tour guide Jack's professionalism. He is responsible and meticulous in his work. If I have a chance in the future, I will join the trip again. Thanks.
On June 12-19, my husband and I took part in the tour of the three eastern provinces, Montreal and Toronto. Although we had to leave early and return late, we also felt the courtesy of home at home!
From the first day of joining the group in North Carolina, little Du's Guide's explanation and the first time to remember the names of the two of us, old but not old, really feel respected!
When I stayed in the hotel that night, I saw that Xiaodu arranged the hotel stay in a skillful and efficient way. Nearly 50 members of the group completed it in a short time. Each of the members respected Xiaodu's instructions and checked in smoothly. The white counter lady on the side also showed admiration. I immediately felt confident about the next few days' trip, because on the first day, I confirmed that this was definitely one of them Have the strength warm and polite guide!
As we are too old to endure long-distance bus travel, we have not participated in group tourism for ten years. However, based on our yearning for the three eastern provinces, we have made a name at last minute with a tentative attitude!
During the whole trip, Du tirelessly explained in three languages, taking into account the needs of each group. The humorous atmosphere in his words made the whole car laugh constantly, and even Andy, the driver, was amused. Of course, the long-distance bus driving is hard and challenging for a middle-aged driver. I really admire Xiao Lin's tolerance and caring. Chen, the driver can keep the best state and concentrate on driving and maintenance Safety of the whole car! Of course, we also restore our confidence in such bus travel!
I would recommend this trip. We had our trip aug. 25 to 27. Our tour guide is Ms. Kimberly. She was very nice and fair translating from mandarin to english. We would love to have her again as our guide. Philip on the other hand is our driver and did a great job as well. Kudos to these two. God bless you both.
I would like to thank you for our tour leader Peggy Lin. she was a great tour leader with great information about history of Canada and all the cities that we went. she was so organized.
This was my first trip with this company. The overall trip was a really good experience for me and my friends, and it's worth it for the price! The tour guide Leo Yu was extremely friendly and helpful.
Hi, I really enjoyed the trip, since it provides a comprehensive itinerary for what the trip duration is. The only thing I could suggest, is to have more time at the war and hisory museum.
The tour guide Carmen and Diane the driver were a good combination of professionalism. The food option was ok but the French lunch on the second day was more like snack not food. I was so hungry an hour after the lunch. The meal was not ok. The other food option was ok. The tour generally was a good experience
, which I would recommend.
I went there last July 9-11. I had a great time with my family. There are still improvements that can be done with the itinerary. You can replace one of the museums with Jacques Cartier Park during the summer time. Also may need to stay in Quebec City for one night.
We took this tour from Jun 30 - July 2, 2018 which included the summer package. So we got to visit 1000 Island, Montreal, Quebec, Ottawa & Kingston (No stop in Kingston, visit just from the bus). Our tour guide was Leo who was very nice, honest and helpful. We paid for the lunch at 1000 islands on the first day. Rest day lunch & dinners were managed by ourselves. You can easily find places to eat where they stop for the meals. The hotel was far off the city so you could not plan any visit of your own. The breakfast provided at the Comfort Inn Hotel was pretty basic (One muffin, one breakfast bar, a fruit and a juice - It was packed one package per person). We just felt the gratuity fee was higher (For 3 days trip, you pay $36 per person. So for couple it is $72). I suggest to charge $36 for 3 days for a couple is OK to manage. We would love to go for another tour with them as it is very well planned.
Had booked the tour for my in laws. Everything was well-organized and the package was great too! The guide was great. She took care of everyone nicely.
We took this tour from Feb 17 - 19, 2018 which included Ice Hotel, instead of 1000 Island. Our tour guide was Benjamin Ying who was very nice and honest. His instructions were very clear and time management was really commendable. As other reviewer had suggested, we paid for their meal plan upfront and would recommend the same to others too. We felt that food they provided was just awesome, especially the dinner at Chinatown, Montreal and (French) lunch at Quebec City. Some people in our group didn't opt for the meal plan and had a tough time finding an alternative. Note that the breakfast provided at the Quality Hotel was pretty basic (two bread slices, jam, an apple and a juice - limited) and you want to carry something if you are used to heavy breakfast. This tour was operated by Compass Holidays and we highly recommend it to anyone.
We have been missing Ben's "Thank you for your attention!" ;-) and would love to go for another tour with him.
I took this trip on 16th-18th Oct'17 from TakeTours. Our tour Peggy is very helpful n friendly. She is always trying to accomodate to everyone's request within her means and very patient and caring. Eventhough we already paid for the service fee but my husband decided to pay her a little bit more. Kudos to this lady. Keep it up Peggy
We took the tour 2-4 October while on holiday in Toronto. Expectations were low having read TripAdvisor reviews but given the value of the package we couldn't let it go.
Tour group was 84% Asian and very friendly and courteous. Our guide Iris and diver Mike from Foley Coaches were great and tours and updates were always provided in Chinese and English by Iris. She was well organised and focused on the importance of passenger safety, punctuality, and use of washrooms. Seats were assigned and rotated front, middle, back daily. I would recommend purchasing the full meal and itinerary package, it's good value and the tour really doesn't cater much for those who go it alone. Everyone on our tour took the full package. Food was mainly Asian buffet with something for everyone. Lunch in Quebec was a French cuisine style selection of Trout or Chicken, nice but not very French.
Hotels were clean and comfortable and close to Montreal Airport both nights. Travelodge, nice bar and Quality Suites, nice room but no bar but has an IGA supermarket across the street selling beer and wine. The website describes the itinerary but my favourites were Thousand Islands and Quebec City. We had no bad experiences and would recommend the tour for couples or groups.
This was a well organized 3-day east coast tour. The schedule is tight, so you need to return back to the bus from attractions on time, as specified by the well informed tour guide. Danny was our tour guide, he was very helpful and friendly. The bus and accommodation were very good. Only suggestion is to have at least one night stay at Quebec, rather than both nights at Montreal.
This is a very well organized 3-day east coast tour where you are able to visit most of the important attractions. The schedule is tight, so you have to return back to the bus as per time specified by the well informed and friendly tour guide. Danny was our tour guide and he was very helpful. If you are interested in getting a taste of East Coast in limited time, this is the tour for you. Bus and hotel were very comfortable. Only suggestion is to have at least one night stay at Quebec, rather than two nights at Montreal.
Great tour and well worth the price. The tour guide work hard to ensure we were happy. Except for the french cuisine I did not much like the food though, but got what I payed for. The Attractions and Exhibitions were wonderful, I learned so much about Canada history. One advice , pay for everything when booking than during the tour, it works out cheaper that way. I booked a standard room for our stay in Montreal because no deluxe was available and worry along the way and packed my own towels to use if dissatisfied with the room but the hotel rooms were great and certainly not two stars as the site said; glad i did not waste money on a deluxe room.
I really liked this tour. Monica was our tourguide, she was very patient and explained everything very well. The hotel was really good and clean, we got morning snacks and the restaurant/buffets were good. Overall I recommend even if you don't know English very well, you still see places that you wouldn't get to by yourself
Hello, I joined the tour from May 20 to May 22, 2017. Mrs.Renee, our guide was a wonderful person and was very disciplined and caring even driver too. It was a great experience and I didn't expect this. She explained each place and history etc. in great detail making the tour very meaningful. Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Fully recommend to take such tours. I am planning to look forward another tour from TakeTours. The BUS has only charger facility but should have WIFI facility.
Hello,
I joined the tour from Apr 29 to May 1, 2017. Mr. Paul Li, our guide was a wonderful person and was very disciplined and caring. He explained each place and history etc. in great detail making the tour very meaningful. Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Fully recommend to take such tours. The BUS should have WIFI facility.
Best Regards, amit
An absolutely wonderful trip (Tour Guide - Danny) . Such an active guy with good knowledge about places with a good sense of humour. Entertains you. Brilliant discipline and time management by Danny. Beautiful attractions across all the cities. Very good accommodation for the price.
It was a good experience. The places we visit were beautiful, although the guide tried really hard to convince me to buy the tickets to places I didn't want to go. The same thing for meals, she tried to sell me the package of meals, but the meals were all in Chinese Restaurants. As I didn't buy the meal package, the driver was very kind to show me other options of places to eat, nearby our stops. The hotel was very good and comfortable, even though we didn't have time to join the breakfast there, because, as we have to leave to our tours very early, the company provided some snacks instead, to be eaten on the bus. The visit to the Museums were very fast, the guide walked and spoke fast, sometimes forgetting to translate to English. The bus was full and something nice there was the fact that the guide changed our seats every morning so we didn't have to remain in the same seat for long. The itinerary was good, even though the time we had to spend on the bus was long due to the distance between one city to another. They were very good in following the schedule and hours, what was a very good thing. I would definitely take the tour again.
A great tour. Our guide Peggy, our driver John, very professionals and friendly. The arrangements, itinerary, the hotel, restaurants, excellent selections in my opinion. This tourism company is Chinese and seems to be originally oriented to Chinese tourists, and they are also open to everybody. The tour will be guided in Chinese and English and choices of restaurants as well. Great for me. I loved it! I will take more tours from this company.
Our tour guide, Peggy Lin, was great. She is very fluent in English and so considerate of us. Our experience was great because of how she managed the group as a whole. She is wholesome and very considerate.
Great Tour....the trip was wonderful for my whole family of 4 adults...the tour guide Peggy was great...very knowledgeable ...very patient...polite and very courteous...and sees that everyone is comfortable...give her a 9.5 / 10...the bus driver Nathan was always courteous and drove us comfortably around....the itinerary was a little bit hectic...but it was OK. .the hotel's accommodation was good...no complaints...the food was mainly Chinese buffet...3 meals out of 5 meals were Chinese. ..so if you don't like Chinese food..or if you will get fed up of it very quick...opt out of the meal plan..there are places nearby to buy different types of food...but a word of caution. ...you have to be quick to buy and eat your food and be back to the bus in time...overall I would rate this trip ...taken on 8th to 10th oct 2016.....a 9/10...We will take this ....TakeTours again for my next holiday trip
It was really great tour experience with your company. It was our 1st tour and it was really fantastic. One of the main concern was the time constraint. Specially in Quebec City. One more hour for exploring city will be better with WIFI in a bus. We did join the meal plan with your company which was a reasonable price. But food wish in 1000 island was the worst experience. They didn't have enough food for all visitors, we have to request for it and the service was worst at that restaurant. I went to have spaghetti, but they don't have sauce. No meat balls left. Workers were just making round and rude. The french restaurant in Quebec City was best. Overall, we have a really good team and the trip was really nice. Highly recommend.
Both my wife and I really enjoyed this tour. It is definitely much more worth than the money you pay. Our tour guide, Peggy, was super knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. We did enjoy her explanations. Even though the majority of the folks on bus were Chinese, she did provide English explanations for everything. Her great support and service goes a long way.
In terms of places, I think the selection was very great. We did enjoy almost all attractions. In particular, the thousand island tour and Quebec were amazing experiences.
I will definitely recommend this tour to anyone who doesn't want to spend a great deal of money, but yet enjoy a great tour. We couldn't be happier; BTW, the hotel quality was also very good. Couldn't be more satisfied.
For those who wonder what it would be like for a non-Chinese speaker: You will definitely be fine. We didn't join the group for dinners and lunch, but could easily find restaurants nearby.
The best tour...++++
We did some tour before with the other tour companies, but no one could provide the same service like Take Tours.
The English explanation are very good. The price are very affordable. The itineraries are very pleasant.
I will book my next tours with Take Tours again next time.
Tiring but an organized tour with a super-packed schedule, especially if you choose to do all the options as we did (didn’t feel like we had much of a choice, not being familiar with Montreal or Quebec). Bus leaves early in the morning and returns to the hotel around 8pm-ish. The Quality Inn we stayed at was quite decent for a 3-star. The beds and pillows were comfortable and the area felt safe. Although the tour days are long, it’s okay to sleep on the bus and miss out on the highway views of forest and farmland.
If you choose to do the optional, understand that there only about hour tops at the attractions and about an hour to eat. If you don’t do the options, there isn’t much of a choice to find anything else to do. The people with us who opted out of the civilization museum in Ottawa just sat in the cafe because there really wasn't anything else nearby.
Optional worth doing: Thousand Island cruise, Biodome and Tower (if you don’t mind a very rushed 30 minutes to breeze through the ecosystems - barely read the signs, bus was late arriving at this location. Only got 30 min at the tower too), Canadian Museum of Civilization (if you like anthropological exhibits), and the Canadian War Museum (wished we had more time here, great exhibits about WWI, WWII, and other wars). This was a Spring tour so we didn't get to do the ice hotel but the guide said it was worth it.
Food-wise, the Chinese buffets are quite mediocre and you’re only limited to about an hour before returning to the bus. You can avoid it in Montreal because they go there for dinner two days in a row and get a quick meal in Chinatown where the group will be or somewhere else a short walk away. There are bakeries in Chinatown and other eateries but with the time constraint, I still think it is possible to find something else. Personally, I’d rather get food myself since it’ll likely cost less than the $12-$20 they ask for even if it means sacrificing convenience. You can bring food and snacks on the bus but nothing stinky like burgers. The hotel was located near the airport so it could be a pricey taxi ride if you wanted to get back on your own. The lunch after the Thousand Island cruise reminded me of a camp-like buffet setting (it doesn't get any more Canadian than that). Basically, not much of a choice for a different lunch since it’s on a lakeside in Gananoque. The lunch in Quebec City was most worth it; however, since the tour spends about a half day there, you could have your own lunch in either upper or lower Quebec since there are more restaurants in the area. The return to Ontario for lunch was at another Chinese buffet but it was in a strip mall by the Thousand Islands area which had a food court this time so there were other options. Not sure if they stop at these same buffets every time.
Because this tour provides a taste of the cities on the itinerary, there's a very limited amount of time at each stop. I don't think we even got a half hour in Kingston, not that there was much to see. If you blink, you might miss former PM John A. MacDonald's house. I really wish we had more time in Ottawa for the parliament buildings. We only got 20 minutes there. I think a visit to the parliament should be offered as an option rather than the civilization museum, especially because it’s an important part of Canadian culture and history. That stop was a complete mess for us with the increase in security detail around the area who seemed as confused by the tour group as we were trying to find washrooms. Other than that mishap, the tour guide and driver did a great job. Originally, I planned a trip to Montreal and Quebec for five days but convenience-wise, this tour was a favorable alternative for the limited amount of time we had on the East Coast. I really wish that one of the Chinese buffets could be replaced with a stop at a poutine or smoked meat place. Things to do for a future visit on our own time!
It was really tiring but I am glad I joined this tour. The tour guide and the driver were very nice and tried their best to accommodate our needs. The only thing that I was not quite happy with was lunch in the Old Quebec City restaurant. The restaurant and the waitress were very nice, but I didn't like the menu. This lunch was optional, you can choose not to join the lunch. The bus also was not quite good, I felt most of the bumps. However, overall with a good hotel arrangement and affordable price, I would recommend this tour to others.
I would definitely recommend this tour to all looking to explore Canada's East Coast! Our tour guide, Mr. Jack, was well-versed with all sites and provided us with thorough information. Accommodation, itinerary and transportation was all excellent (Thanks Lorry for the drive!) However, the meal package could have been better. International buffets would have been ideal. Overall, a great trip!
This tour was first-rate. I found the tour guide (Yasmin) to be extremely helpful and knowledgeable and along with our bus driver (Philip), they both provided us with a seamless tour experience. We visited so many sights and at each stop, we were educated to a plethora of facts and information. I will definitely recommend this tour to others and look forward to taking another tour with you in the future. Many thanks and appreciation to your company.
The tour was great for the price you pay. A few things to take note- food choices could have been better, and a bit more time in some attractions in Ottawa would have been nice. Mr. Young, the tour guide, was excellent, communicated well, and was on schedule. Thank you, and will take another tour with you soon.
It was a great tour for the price you pay. All arrangements were good. We visited a lot of attractions in 3 different cities, it would be impossible if you tried to do it by yourself without a tour group. Thanks a lot to our tour guide Ben, he was patient and explained everything in English and Mandarin for English and Chinese families in our group. Room in the Quality Hotel was clean with good air conditioner. The breakfast provided by the hotel was enough. Meal plan was okay. Mostly we ate in different Chinese buffets, so I can keep my healthy diet with vegetables and chicken or fish. French restaurant in Quebec was very good. I would recommend the tour for my friends.
Overall we had a good experience. Young, our tour guide was very good, very organized, and very patient. Transportation was okay, however the bus advertised that it had wi-fi, but this option was not available. On regards of food, it was mostly Chinese buffets that were very poor quality, especially the first day lunch, but I guess it is a given considering the price we paid for. If you take this tour, be prepared to be in the bus for long, long, hours. It is not their fault, it is just that Canada is a very big country and distance between cities are hours apart. I would recommend this tour to our friends and relatives.
I live in the United States and was visiting my family earlier this month in Toronto. My family arranged a 3 day Canada East Coast tour while I was in town. We had such an amazing and memorable trip. For the low price we paid for the fare, we enjoyed 2 nights accommodation at a nice hotel, a luxury coach bus driven by a professional driver, and a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. I don't think that we would have been able to experience that many interesting attractions on our own. We would definitely have paid much more if we did this 3 day tour on our own. I enjoyed the fact that after paying the discounted group package rate for all the attractions and meals, we were able to just sit back and enjoy the tour with everything was arranged for us. Our tour guide was so organized and knowledgeable. We were aware that we were joining a Chinese speaking tour and the website clearly stated that the tour guide would speak limited English. Therefore we did not expect the guide to repeat everything he said in 2 Chinese dialects in English as well. However, he spoke more than enough English to ensure that we understood all the important information throughout our trip. We were so impressed at how he kept us on schedule because we had to cover so many attractions within each day. Luckily, he had arranged all our restaurant reservations in advance so that we were able to eat and head to the next attraction in a timely manner throughout the tour. We are so used to eating Indian food on a daily basis at home, so it was really refreshing and exciting to be able to try new foods during our tour. Our hotel provided us with a nice breakfast each morning and the rest of the meals were mainly buffet style. I think the buffets were great because there was so much selection to satisfy everyone. We especially enjoyed the authentic French Cuisine 5 course meal in Quebec. Although most of our tour mates were Chinese, there were another 6 people in our tour from our culture. I noticed that 4 of them refused to pay extra money to join the attractions and meals because they thought that the fare of $129 or less per person that they had paid at booking covered all that. I actually thought that was so funny because that price they had paid at booking barely even covers their 1 night accommodation if they were to book the hotel themselves. Apparently, these people did not read the conditions clearly outlined before booking. They were obviously attracted by the low price per person. Another couple refused to join any attractions, claiming that they had “already been there before” and did not want to pay for the meals package because they were “Vegetarians”, and only ate Indian food. I could not believe it when they even made a request for the tour guide to arrange Indian food for them throughout the tour. It’s so ridiculous how people cannot live without their Indian food for 3 days. To make matters worse, they refused to pay our guide and driver their well deserved customary tip on the last day. Their lame excuse was that even though the service was excellent, not enough English was spoken to them and they were not happy that the tour company had not arranged Indian food for them throughout the tour. These people should be ashamed of themselves for making up such ridiculous excuses in order to justify not paying the tips. Our poor tour guide has a stressful job enough looking after 55 people for 3 days, and should not have to deal with unreasonable people like these. People who are not planning to join any attractions, or meal plans arranged by a tour company should just drive there themselves, book their own hotels, and arrange their own meals instead of joining an “arranged tour”. For people looking into booking this these tours, please keep in mind that this is essentially a Chinese speaking tour group. Therefore, your guide will naturally be speaking more Chinese than English. Also, don’t expect your tour guide to have the time to accommodate “special” dining arrangement requests from different cultures with such a tight schedule. Overall, my family and I had an excellent experience booking through the Take Tours website and enjoyed a wonderful trip thanks to our excellent tour guide and driver. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. We will definitely booking with the Take Tours website for our next family trip when I am back in Toronto.
I had taken my parents on the 3 Days Canada East Coast tour recently. We enjoyed 2 nights accommodations at a nice hotel, a luxury coach to take us there and back, as well as a very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. It was an excellent value for the price that we paid. We were so impressed by our tour guide because he spoke 3 languages and kept us on schedule. We did not expect him to translate "everything" in English for us because we were aware that this is a Chinese tour group, and it specified online when we booked that the guide would provide limited English. However, he spoke enough to make sure we understood all the important information throughout our trip. The tour schedule was very well arranged so that we were able to visit many attractions during the 3 days. Although we are used to eating Indian food at home, we were extremely happy with the dining arrangements, which was mostly buffet style. This was perfect because there was always food choices to suit everyone's food restrictions, even vegetarians like us. We especially enjoyed the 5 course authentic French cuisine lunch. All meals were booked ahead by our tour guide, so we were able to eat and continue to our next attraction in a timely manner. However, we were unimpressed by the behavior of some tour mates from our culture, who gave the tour guide a hard time by refusing to join any attractions and dining arrangements because they thought it was included in the price they paid when they booked and did not want to pay more. How could they expect that their $129 fare would include all attractions and meals for 3 days? They should know very well that it barely covers just 1 night accommodation. These people clearly did not read the conditions of the tour before booking and were just attracted by the bargain price. Then, there were some people who just did not want to pay to go to any attractions and refused to join the group for dining because they were "vegetarians", and they only ate Indian food and told the tour guide that they saw online that attractions and meals were "optional". I think part of the enjoyment in traveling is to see the attractions of destinations and experience different foods. Take note, we are not going to die if we don't have our Indian food for 3 days people! To make matters worse, we noticed that these people were grumpy and bored throughout the whole trip because they had decided not to join any attractions and meals. As a result, they had to wait around while the rest of our group were enjoying the wonderful attractions and meals. On our last day, I felt so bad for our tour guide when those people refused to pay the tip, even though they admitted that service provided by the guide and driver was excellent. They claimed that the tour guide did not arrange for them to eat "Indian food" and that he spoke more Chinese than English. These people should be ashamed of themselves for making up such ridiculous excuses in order to justify not paying the tips. People should not travel with an arranged tour if they are not willing to join the arranged attractions and dining experience. They should just drive there on their own and book their own hotel, find their own restaurants, bring their own food, choose their attractions and take free walking tours. I just think that this is so unfair to the tour guide, who had to look after 55 people. His job is stressful enough without having to deal with unreasonable people like these. Finally, I just wanted to mention that my family and I had a wonderful timeI had took my parents on the 3 Days Canada East Coast tour recently. I highly recommend this tour and will definitely be joining more tours from this site in the future. For people looking into booking this tour, please keep in mind that you are joining a "Chinese tour group". Therefore, do not expect the guide to speak primarily English or make special dining arrangements for you other than what is arranged for the whole group already. Overall, we had a very good experience booking through the TakeTours website. We enjoyed an amazing and memorable tour.
Very good tour and tour guide, the tour guide was very friendly.
Breakfast was funny, could have got extra money and provided good breakfast. The accommodation was very good.
It's a very good tour. The hotel is really nice, and the bus is comfortable. Our tour guide, Vivian, is very nice and helpful. If you don't have too many days to spend on a trip, I would say this is a perfect option to visit a lot of places. There is nothing to complain about the tour and I will definitely recommend it to my friends.
My guest from Sydney, Australia had an unforgetable and memorable visit to Toronto because of this 3-day East Coast Tour. Thank you so much for the well organized tour. Special thanks to Paul Li , tour guide. He was very informative. Wish we had more time in the Parliament Hill though. It was bitterly cold. It was a great trip overall.
My daughter and I did the 3-day East Coast tour. Overall great experience and very well organized. Value for the money if you want to see these places on a budget. Buffet style Chinese meals and 1 French style 3 course meal. Quality Hotel was clean. Tour guide, Paul Li did a great job translating everything to English for us. Bus driver Homer made us feel safe in the road. Although 98% passengers were of Mandarin/Cantonese descent, we will do a tour again with this company. As a single mom with 1 daughter, we felt safe and well taken care of. Thank you TakeTours, we will definitely see you soon!
i had booked this tour for my three aunts visiting from the United Kingdom. They came back yesterday and want to thank especially the tour guide, Carmen, who took good care of them. They enjoyed the well organized tour. Nothing negative to say. Thank you!
Pros: great prices, great hotel, and great first 2 days.
2. guide was funny and hilarious.
Cons: If you are Indian or vegetarian, don't take their meals. It's horrible. There is no or limited option for Indian or vegetarian meal.
2.There is no breakfast. Breakfast is a joke. They should charge more, but should have good breakfast.
3.Third day they give you less than 1 hour to see museums that at least require 2 hours.
4 . Ottawa- we just had 2 stops and whatever they say on website they just pass by in bus. No stopping.
5. Guide was in hurry to finish tour.
This was a beautiful and well organized trip, which was very cost effective. We got our full money worth. It would be impossible to cover these many wonderful and important places on our own in 3 days time for such less cost. Our special mention should go to tour guide, Mrs. Reene Lin. She was very friendly and patient and explained almost everything about the attractions (in good English as well). Hotel accommodation was excellent. Only thing if you are a vegetarian is not to opt for the meal plan, but do not miss the special lunch in Old Quebec City. Overall, my wife and I will remember this trip for long long time, and would strongly recommend this tour!
This was an interesting tour. The 1000 Island cruise was good.
This is a Chinese company, so Chinese is spoken first then English. It didn't bother us. The hotels were very good and beds were comfortable. Excellent value for you money. Very long days.
The tour covers a lot of ground in three days. It would not be possible to do so all by yourselves. It runs smoothly and on time. The price is value for money, tour guide gives you highlights in English, although most of the detailed commentary is in Mandarin. If you love Chinese food, you will love the meal plan on the tour, otherwise there is some challenge especially if you are vegetarian. But hey, there must be some adventure! Go for this tour if you have never been on the East Coast.
It was nice 3 days tour to Canadada east coast. Managed very well. Tour guide and driver very nice. But they have to give more time to attractions rather than lunch and dinner. Tour guide has to explain more in English also, as like Chinese.
This 3-days East Coast tour, which my wife and I recently had is a perfectly arranged, well designed, economical tour, great guide, educational, and pleasurable trip . Driver -Nancy was a perfect example of "SMILES" and tour guide - Neville Leung was full of knowledge about the different places we visited with up to mark - "DISCIPLINE".
I just finished 3 days Canada East Coast tour with this tour operator. Tour was fantastic, trip charge is very economical, and they arrange business class accommodation. They follow a disciplined time line to cover all attractions. Tour staff including driver and guide (Daniel) are friendly. Daniel is very informative about tour attractions. Food is okay. Overall I am satisfied. I recommend this tour for people who want to see Montreal, Quebec, and Ottawa at an economy charge in three days.
We were quite pleased and impressed with this tour. Tour guide was excellent, we got a couple of buffets for our meal as well as a French fine dining restaurant. And the meals were great. The tour was very punctual. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the hotel! The only downfall was the breakfast which was a bit lacking, but overall it's a great trip!
It was a great trip, just finished with TakeTours East coast Trip. It was our first experience travelling in a bus. The tour guide and driver were awesome, very informative, punctual, and practiced safe driving. If food arrangements are improved, we would prefer that, and would refer friends and other family members to contact your company next time. Hotel rooms were cleaned and had good breakfast. Try to give a buffet so selection of food will be possible and easy for all communities.
All I can say is that was a wow experience within less budget
1) Tour Guide was very good
2) Had enough time for looking at the attractions
3) Hotel was awesome with beautiful room including break fast, we have been accommodated in Quality Inn hotel for which daily room rent will be $ 120 + and that too for 2days and I just paid 160$ for the tour
4) Driver as very good polite no rash driving always with a smile on his face and was there ontime during the entire trip
5) If you are vegetarian then you would have limited dishes in the restaurant they have the tie up
But overall I am very very happy and looking to book another trip shortly.
We had a very nice 3 days Toronto tour last weekend. We saw beautiful view and nice lunch on the top of skyline tower. And we like our guide Fiona,Miss You so much. She's a very good tour guide, very informative, knowledgeable & more organized & with patience to such a large group of people. We had a great time, thanks again. We will do more Tours with E World Tours company in the future:)
Yes it was a remarkable, enjoyable and cost worthy tour. I would like to add few comments.
1. During our tour Tulip Festival was going on in Ottawa but we were upset that you did not consider to cover the festival in your tour package. I may hope that you will take in to account in future on this kind of events.
2. In your Itinerary you did not mention any thing about the food arrangement. We know it was excluded from price package. We only knew from the tour guide during the trip. I may suggest that you can inform all details before hand.
3. Food was good but the foods were not Tagged that means the major components like Chicken, beef or Ham etc.
