What the biggest size of luggage can we load on the bus? by Tuangtip on 2013-01-22
We usually recommend to bring 1 check in luggage and 1 carry on per person.
You may be able to have an extra luggage depending on the tour operator and size of the coach that's operating the trip.
For instance this tour is provided by a big coach bus that can accommodate an extra luggage.
The size for the check-in
luggage must not exceed 62 inches when adding the total exterior dimensions of the piece (length + width + height) and should not weigh more than 50 pounds.
How much luggage is allowed?

Comments: Very well managed and worth the money spent.
Karen was ok but should speak clearly for the benefit of non-chinese speaking clients. She was good at her job but should organise viewing of documents early instead of the last minute. All clients should be provided with an up to date itinerary as the one I had from the website was not updated. She could not provide me with a copy as she said she had to pay for the photocopy. For 25.00, the night tour was not worth it as we only got to see 3 places. The coach wasn't the best as the heaters was not working. There were no sun-shades and some seats were not working properly. The tour was trying to cover too much, with too little time for some more interesting stops, such as Times Square, USS Intrepid, Museum of Art, White House and La Citadel. The local guide for La Citadel was a disappointment as he did not give us a proper history of the site. On the upside, the hotels were above average for a tour and the rooms sorted(on check-in)quickly and efficiently. The allocation of seats on the bus was a good idea, but could have been more evenly distributed.Overall, what you get is what you pay. Residents from China should be given a quick run down on ettiquette, and not push and shove as they are used to in their enviornment. They spoil the mood of other pax who try hard not to create a situation.Overall, the itinerary was an average one, and Karen could only work on what was available to her. L and L Travel should do their bit to improve the itinerary. My best regards to Karen and Eddy, who should have been introduced to everyone at the start of the tour. Cheers!!
Karen is great. She provided a good services and a very interesting and useful information along the places we visitted. Hector is an excellent driver. He was so generous to take good care passengers's luggeges. We can trust his carefully driving along the eight day trip.
One uncontrolable factor was passengers. Many of them talk loudly along the trip.
All visiting places were followed by the advertised program on your brochure. It is an economy price but luxury trip.
Our group took the 8 day East Coast Vacation and was amazed at how our guide Scott Chu and our driver Hector Manon made the trip unforgettable. Both were so organized and professional. They were so helpful from start till the end of the tour. These pair are so hilarious and funny that made the long and hectic journey to a favorable one. Kudos to Hector and Scott. Overall the trip is a 5 Star.
Thanks guys, Rodel from San Diego
Beautiful places to see and good organization. Be aware that the tour guide speaks mainly chinese and english as second language - I'm sorry so say, a very poor english, it was hard to understand sometimes. I'm not english mothertongue, but some friends from Australia could not understand what he was saying neither.
We took the 8 days East Coast + Canada trip. It was very comprehensive and covered a lot of places.
Our tour guide was Carlton and he was very experienced and took good care of all logistics. He gets 5 stars for trying his best to take care of everything for everyone.
The overall rating is less because of the food options. My wife is vegetarian and found it very difficult to get decent food in most of the places as we were mostly in Chinatown and the majority of the options were non-veg and seafood.
Be prepared for the tour to be hectic as there are so many places to be seen. Waking up early and going to bed late is to be expected. However, all tickets for attractions were arranged by Carlton in advance and we did not have to stand in line anywhere.
The overall rating is also less because there was a lot of confusion in the last leg of the tour when we were to be dropped off to the airport. It was not planned properly.
All in all, a good trip and plenty of places to see and enjoy.
I wanna say that I really enjoyed this trip. I went with my 2 sisters it was great and the tour guide (Patrick) was very kind guy. We really appreciate his hard work, the hotels were also very good.
The service is impressive! I booked a wrong trip because of my own mistake. The customer service rep helped me through the changing process with great patience. Thanks!
I took the 8 day East Coast and Canada tour from New York with my wife and son from May 6th to May 13th. The itinerary was excellent, the service very good, and hotels well chosen. The tour guide (Mr. Patrick) was very very knowledgeable about American history, and was a very courteous and well mannered gentleman. Thank you to your whole team for making this trip memorable. I will always recommend this to all my friends.
