Day 1

Today we will explore Beijing, starting with the Temple of Heaven, which was used to pray for harvest by the emperors. It is China's existinglargest structure for sacrifice to heaven. After Lunch, we will head to Old Beijing Hutong Area, where you have an opportunity to look into ordinary people's life by taking a rickshaw. And you also enjoy various optional activities, such as Paper cutting lesson, Calligraphy lesson, Beijing Opera Masks lesson, Tai Chi lesson and so on. After that, enjoy your free time at Nanluoguxiang, a fashionable pedestrian street redecorated from large numbers of one-story courtyard houses of Hutong. Right here, you could savor some local snacks, and buy various special souvenirs.

Temple of Heaven

This large complex of Daoist buildings was built in the early 15th-century under the rule of the Yongle Emperor. The main structures are the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, the Imperial Vault of Heaven, and the Circular Mound Altar.

Hutong

In Beijing, hutongs are alleys formed by lines of siheyuan, traditional courtyard residences. Since the mid-20th century, a large number of Beijing hutongs were demolished to make way for new roads and buildings. More recently, many hutongs have been designated as protected, in an attempt to preserve this aspect of Chinese cultural history.

Your ticket(s) will be confirmed at the time of booking. Please allow up to 8 hours to receive the confirmation. Your booking will be processed as soon as possible.

Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

- (2) 14-8 days before departure - 50% of tour price.
- (3) Less than 7 days departure - No refund.
- (1) Passengers shall be regarded as carrying his/her own risk with respect to loss or injury to person or property. The Company is not liable for any loss, injury, accident, damage, delay or expense which may arise during the tour.
- (2) Passenger accepts full responsibility for losses and expenses due to delay, sickness, weather, strikes, wars, quarantine and changes in itinerary.
- (3) The Company will not be held accountable if passenger carries any unlawful items or irregularities, any losses and expenses are the responsibility of the passenger.
- (4) The Company, nor tour guide and driver will accept liability for lost or stolen personal property during the tour.
