Today we will travel along the Rio de Plata, the widest river in the world, to the small town of San Isidro. Here we will learn about San Isidro's history and people, and pass historical places such as the Presidential Residence, called the Quinta de Oliva, located outside the neighborhood of Olivos. In San Isidoro we will also have free time to explore the city center and market.
Next we will return to the bus and drive to Tigre. Here we will board a boat and sail along the delta to explore its islands. The life of the "isleños" (people who live on the islands of the Delta) is very unique. The local guide will provide information about history and lifestyle in Tigre. Guests can take in beautiful scenic views while sipping complimentary coffee and alfajore, a traditional Argentinean cookie.
After touring the islands, we will board the bus and return to the capitol city of Buenos Aires.
