  • Thank God that we could set our foot on the arctic circle in Alaska. It was a long day travel (~18 hrs) on a bumpy road. Mel, our tour guide was awesome, highly educated, knowledgeable and she was narrating history and stories about Alaska throughout the journey- ranging from habitats, pipeline construction details etc. Wondering how she could talk continuously. The Trans Alaskan Pipeline visit along the way was an engineering marvel. The food along the journey was timely and properly arranged and could get hot food for the dinner.
