    Day 1

    Honolulu

    After arrival at Honolulu International Airport, we will meet the tour guide who will wear a lavender purple color shirt. The hotel is about 25 minutes' drive from the airport.
    Domestic Flight: Tour guide will meet you at the Baggage Claim Area of your flight.
    International Flight: The tour guide will meet you at the individual exit.

    Day 2

    Honolulu - Pearl Harbor - Oahu (14 miles)

    In the morning, we will visit the Pearl Harbor for the famous remains of USS Arizona Battleship after the Japanese attack in World War II. A Navy Vessel will take you up to the Arizona Memorial. After that is the City Tour (sightseeing - only stop one point here) including State Capitol, Washington place (Governor's Mansion), Iolani Place and King Kamehameha statue.
    In the afternoon, take a one and a half hour drive to Polynesian Cultural Center located on north shore. It is a center established by the Mormons and contains seven Polynesian tribes including Samoa, Maori, Fiji, Hawaii, Tonga, Tahiti and Marquises Islands.

      Hawaii State Capitol

      Built in the Hawaiian international style, this large building is the official statehouse of Hawaii and home to the state legislature. It is surrounded by a refelcting pool. It replaced 'Iolani Palace in 1969 as the statehouse.

      Washington Place

      This National Historic Landmark is an extremely important location in Hawaiian history. It is where the last queen of Hawai'i, Queen Liliʻuokalani, was arrested after being betrayed and overthrown before the annexation of Hawaii by the United States.

      'Iolani Palace

      The 'Iolani Palace in Honolulu, Hawaii is the only formerly-functional royal palace in the United States. Until 1893, King Kalākaua and Queen Liliʻuokalani ruled from the palace. Since then, it has been used as capitol building and museum.

      King Kamehameha I

      This brass statue honors Kamehameha I, also known as Kamehameha the great, who conquered and unified the Hawaiian Islands in 1810. It serves as an important cultural, spiritual, and historical landmark for the Hawaiian people.

      USS Arizona Memorial

      This memorial in Honolulu, Hawaii serves as a remembrance of the American soldier killed in the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941. The ship marks the resting place of over one thousand of the dead.

    Day 3

    Oahu (Mini Circle Island Tour)

    After picked up from our hotel in the morning, we will head to view the east part of Oahu and take a Mini Circle Island Tour, passing by the world famous Waikiki Beach, Kahala, Diamond Head Look out, Hanauma Bay Nature preserve Area (not into the beach), Halona Blowhole, Pali Lookout.
    In the afternoon, we will go on a North Shore sightseeing tour including Hawaii famous Dole Plantation, to try the delicious Dole Whip ice cream on your own expense. Then we will continue to the Haleiwa town. After a brief stop there, we will pass by the Sunset Beach where we will have chance to see some turtles lying on the beach. Before returning back to the hotel, we will pass by the Tomb of General Chang Hsueh Liang and Byodo-In Temple

      Oahu is the most popular of the Hawaiian Islands. It is the location of Honolulu, Hawaii's capital, as well as much-loved tourist spots like Pearl Harbor and Waikiki. The Polynesian Cultural Center is on this island as well.

      Mini Circle Island Tour

      This in-depth tour of Oahu offers a look at some of Hawaii's most amazing places, both up-close and as part of the island's amazing and scenic views. Stops include the Diamond Head Crater and Halona Blow Hole.

      Diamond Head

      Rising over Honolulu, Diamond Head is a dormant volcano with an interior crater. The Diamond Head crater is one of the world's best examples of this geological formation. The crater's interior is now a national park.

      Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve

      Both a bathing beach and a nature preserve, the Hanauma Bay area is one of Oahu's most popular tourist spots. While actually touching the local animals is illegal, you can still get closer to them than almost anywhere else!

      Nu'uanu Pali Lookout

      This scenic point on Koʻolau Mountain in Oahu's Nuʻuanu Valley offers spectacular panoramic views of the northeastern coastline of the island of Oahu. The area is also the location of the Nuʻuanu Freshwater Fish Refuge and Nu'uanu Reservoir.

      Replaced by the Ala Moana Beach Park if closed due to road closure.

      Haleiwa

      A town along the northwest coast of O'ahu, Haleiwa is known as a top surfing destination. Matsumoto Shave Ice is a local favorite, where visitors can get Hawaii's favorite dessert.

      Dole Plantation

      Dole Plantation opened in 1950, billing itself as "Hawaii's Pineapple Experience." In addition to touring the fields, visitors can attempt the "world's largest maze," a 3-acre adventure with more than two miles of paths and a mystery to solve.

      Pineapple Express

      Visitors to the Dole Plantation on Oahu can take this fun train ride through two miles of Hawaii landscape, featuring narration from a knowledgable conductor who will tell you how Dole became a giant of fruit production.

      Byodo-In Buddhist Temple

      Surrounded by koi ponds, this non-denominational temple was built in the 1960s to commemorate the 100-year anniversary of the first Japanese immigrants to the Hawaiian islands. Before entering, visitors should ring the peace bell.

    Day 4

    Oahu - Kona (179 miles)

    In the morning, we will take a plane to the big island (KONA Airport). After being picked up by local tour guides and transfer to the hotel, we are free to enjoy own time in the hotel. Hilton Waikoloa Village is the most extensive resort in Hawaii. The resort offers the guests the option to enjoy their saltwater lagoon or to have fun with the dolphins(optional). It also has an on-site shop, gourmet restaurants, a canal boat and a museum walkway with artwork around the Pacific Ocean. We can explore the Waikoloa Beach Resort on a light rail or boat ride.

      This district on the Big Island of Hawaii is home to several nation and state historical parks at places like Kealakekua Bay. Kona is also famous for its special Kona coffee and being the host of the Ironman contest.

    Kona - Hilo (59 miles)

    Depart from the hotel in Kona, we will drive all the way through the forest to the southernmost territory of the United States. It is still the most popular cliff dive site on the Big Island. Through the vast landforms of the Eastern African savannah, you will experience the thrilling scenes of the Lion King's cartoon movie. Then we transfer to the local people's booster bus, pass the bumpy mud road, and finally arrive at the Hawaii's unique Green Sand Beach. We will spend night at the Hilo hotel.

    Hilo

    Today, we will depart from the hotel and then head to the Rainbow Falls. Afterwards we will come to visit the Akatsuka Orchid Gardens. Then we will drive to enjoy a lunch. After that, we will continue to the Richardson Black Sand Beach at the foot of the volcano, then proceed to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, the Jaggar Volcano Museum, and then we will look at the park's unique geographic features such as the craters, the Lava tube, and the steaming vents of the volcanoes. In the evening, we will go on a Mauna Kea Stargazing Tour at Visitor's Station to marvel at the Hawaiian sky, and to experience one of the most sacred places in Hawaii. Overnight in Hilo hotel.

      Rainbow Falls

      This impressive waterfall near downtown Hilo, Hawaii is eighty feet tall and almost a hundred feet in diameter. Its ease of access and lack of admission fee make it a popular sight to see for visitors to Hilo.

      Akatsuka Orchid Gardens

      The Akatsuka Orchid Gardens on the Big Island of Hawaii are a greenhouse, nursery, and botanical garden that is open to the public for free. There are more than 500 blooming orchids on display for visitors to the complex.

      Richardson Beach Park

      Richardson Beach Park is a park located just east of Hilo on Hawaii Island. It is significant for being the only Hilo beach with special volcanic black sand. It was named for Elsa and George Richardson, who lived there.

      Volcanoes National Park

      Volcanoes National Park showcases Hawaii's interesting geological history. Near the town of Hilo, Mt. Kilauea, and the Thurston Lava Tube, the park boasts an incredible, dynamic landscape that is often reshaped by local volcanic activity.

      Jaggar Museum & Hawaiian Volcano Observatory

      A volcano observatory located at Uwekahuna Bluff on the rim of Kilauea Caldera on the Island of Hawaii. The observatory monitors four active Hawaiian volcanoes: Kilauea, Mauna Loa, Hualālai, and Haleakalā. Located at the main site is the public Thomas A. Jaggar Museum.

      Mauna Kea Observatories

      The Mauna Kea Observatories are a collection of research facilities located atop the volcano Mauna Kea in Hilo on Hawaiʻi Island. Mauna Kea is one of the world's most important observatories and are managed by the University of Hawai'i.

      There is no refund if any child under 6 years old and those who has severe hypertension/anaemia/pregnant woman/altitude sickness etc are not able to participate in the activity.

    Day 7

    Hilo

    Today we will take a 30-minute hike to the Kalapana lava field of 1985, then we will drive up the east coast of the Big Island to see the views along the way, and to Puhoiki to see the black sand beaches and sea hot springs formed during the latest volcanic eruption in 2018. Guests can dip their feet in the hot spring water. Swimming is not recommended at present. Then we will get back to Hilo for lunch. In the afternoon we will go to the Akaka Falls on the north shore of the Big Island. Stop at the farmer's market for fresh papayas and other tropical seasonal fruits. After that we will go back to the hotel to rest.

      Kalapana Black Sand Beach

      Kalapana Black Sand Beach is a volcanic beach that is also an actively erupting area. The Kalapana Lava Viewing Area allows visitors to see the volcano's activity from a safe distance and watch smoke billow up from the water.

      Akaka Falls State Park

      'Akaka Falls State Park is one of the many parks on the Island of Hawaii, just outside the city of Hilo. The park is named for the ʻAkaka Falls, a 422-foot-tall waterfall on Kolekole Stream in an eroded gorge.

    Day 8

    Hilo - Maui - Oahu (225 miles)

    In the morning we will take the inter-island flight from Hilo to Maui. After arrival, we will enjoy the island's beautiful scenery including Iao Valley State Park. Then we drive on the coastal highway and arrive at the Lahaina Town which is the famous whaling port of the 18th century. After that, we will continue to visit the Tropical Botanical Garden and Kapalua Bay Villa Area. Once finished, we will fly back to Oahu at the end of the day. After picked up by the tour guide, we will go to hotel and rest.

      Maui is the second-largest of the Hawaiian Islands and has been called the "Best Island in the World." Popular spots on the island include Hāna Highway, Haleakalā National Park, and Wailea-Makena. More than two million people visit annually.

      Iao Vally

      The Iao Valley on the western side of Maui is a National Natural Landmark. It is also park of a state park which is made up of the valley's dense rainforest. It is an important cultural locations to Hawaiians.

      If Iao Valley State Park closed, we will substitute with the Kealia Pond-National Wildlife Refuge.

      Maui Tropical Plantation

      This functioning plantation on Maui is more than just that; it is also a great place to stop and eat, with a highly regarded restaurant onsite. There is a tourist train you can take to see the plantation in full.

      Kapalua Bay

      Kapalua Bay is a sheltered white sand beach on the north west side of Maui. The bay is protected by two reefs that extend out on both ends forming a C-shaped cove making it ideal for snorkeling.

    Oahu - Honolulu (12 miles)

    Today we will check out the hotel and then drop off at the Oahu airport. Tour ends here.
    The sequences of itinerary may be adjusted according to different tour departure dates, but the contents of itinerary will not be changed.

    • Booking changes
      A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
    • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
      Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .

      (Notification day and departure day are not counted)
      15-30 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
      8-14 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
      Within 7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
      Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
      Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
      Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
      There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.
      NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
    • Itinerary Variations
      We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
    • Tour Cancellation:
      We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
      We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
    • Outer Island Air Ticket:
      We need your passport or picture ID card when we issue outer island air ticket. (Additional check-in baggage charges may apply by Airline about $40/bag). Once the air ticket is issued cannot be refund or exchange. We are not responsible for any canceling flight or flight delay.
