We joined the tour last minute, two days before departure date. TakeTours customer service puts in effort to confirm the next day on Sunday for Monday's tour. Online live chat ladies were very helpful. Thumbs up!
We were picked up at the hotel lobby slightly later than planned by about 15-20 minutes at 6:30p.m. We left Las Vegas, heading to Grand Canyon about 7:30a.m. Our tour guide, Brenden, was very funny. He made the entire 3.5 hour journey not so boring. We stopped by Hoover Dam for only 5 minutes as the wind was too strong. We reached West Rim at 10:30a.m. We had 3.5 hours to wander around by ourselves. Not bad! We walked on the Skywalk for 20 minutes, and continued with other attraction points. Lunch was provided, and was surprisingly good food. Busy Monday though; queue was long, and by the time it was our turn, there were no more hot cookies. :( We reached Las Vegas at 6p.m. Efficient tour. :) Overall, was a great experience. Don't forget tip for the driver/tour guide, ours was $8-10 per person.
we were happy with this tour and our driver/tour guide should be credited for it. He made the 3hr ride interesting for us, he gave tips and told us about Boulder City, Hover Dam, etc. But just like the others, i think its quite pricey for a 10hr tour.
