Itinerary
Our tour will depart from Sin City for a short drive to the Hoover Dam and Lake Mead, a beautiful man-made reservoir that is contained within the Black Canyon.
Next we will head to the abandoned mining town of Chloride, AZ. Browse the antique shops and chat with the locals before you enjoy lunch. Admire many artistic sculptures of this joyful artist's community. Our next stop will take us for a drive along the iconic Route 66 highway to the small ghost town of Oatman, AZ. We will drink in the local saloon before we make our way back through the Mojave Desert along the Veterans Memorial Highway to Las Vegas, where we will conclude our tour.

Las Vegas is known as the "Entertainment Capital of the World" for a good reason-- casinos and hotels line its streets, and visitors can gamble, see shows, and shop at virtually any hour of the day or night.
Hoover Dam
The beautiful Hoover Dam is located 30 miles southeast of Las Vegas in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River. The massive concrete dam was a monumental undertaking built during the Great Depression and dedicated by Franklin Roosevelt himself.
Chloride, AZ
The little community has survived the harsh desert environment since the 1860s. Silver and other minerals were mined here for decades. After the mining boom was over, Chloride nearly became a ghost town itself. Today Chloride is home to about 250 residents who are still very proud of their mining history.
Oatman, AZ
Oatman is a gold mining town that was once abandoned and turned into a ghost town. Now it is thriving again, with many small shops where you can sit and enjoy traditional American food and buy souvenirs.
Departure & Return
- Complimentary hotel pick up and drop off at all Las Vegas hotels within 3-mile of the strip. Please enter your hotel name and address in "Hotel Pick-up Info" box upon check out. Exact pick up time varies between 7:30 am to 8:30 am.
- This tour starts at 8am and arrives back to Las Vegas at approx 6pm.

We strongly advise you not to incur any non-refundable expenses, such as flights, until you have received confirmation from us that your tour is running.

Children age 7-17 will be charged an adult fare and must be accompanied by an adult.
Children under 7yrs are not allowed to join in this tour.
Private Tour: Paying for eight guests guarantees a private tour, even with fewer attendees. The minimum age requirement will be lowered to 5 for the private tour.

I recommend this tour!
We had a brilliant day with Adrian & Amy. On our 3 Ghost Towns and wild west day trip. On the 8th of June. We where picked up from our hotel and the fun started there. We went with the smaller tour option. It was so much better than been stuck on a big bus. Adrian and Amy where on telling you all about Vegas and it's history. The Ghost Towns are well worth a visit. Loads of stories and characters. I would highly recommend Get Your Guide, for all your site seeing trips around Vegas. Thanks again to Adrian and Amy for a great day and everything. Cowboys and history what more can you ask for
Joel was a fantastic guild, full of knowledge and historical information. The tour didn't feel rushed and we have plenty of free time to wonder round the 3 ghost towns visited. Joel was engaged and made the tour very much enjoyable. Lunch was provided which was delicious. Would highly recommend and would definitely book again if in Vegas.

A highly recommended day trip!
We did this day trip this month and I would recommend it to anyone that would like get out of Vegas for the day and see some small mining towns. Our driver Alex was a wealth of information regarding the history of these towns. Being only a small group it was personal and comfortable. Thanks for a great day guys!
