    This park in the southeasternmost regions of Nevada gets its name from the way sunlight looks when reflected off the red sandstone formations. The brilliant dunes and rocks are more than 150 million years old.
  • Departure time: around 9:00am. Pick-up times vary depending on hotel location.
  • Complimentary hotel pick-up and drop-off (see List) from all Strip and Downtown Las Vegas hotels . Please advise pick-up hotel at time of booking and call upon arrival in Las Vegas to reconfirm pick-up time.

Hi there, I would like to ask if this tour gives us enough opportunity to take pictures of the beautiful rock formation along the way, i.e. elephant rock, balanced rock, bee hive, 7 sisters, rainbow valley, alatl rock and the cabin? Do we get a chance to walk around in the Valley of Fire or just drive through by bus? Thank you, Ivan.

Hello Ivan, Yes this tour does give you time to get out of the vehicle & take pictures of all the rock formations that you mentioned.

  • We had a fun and exciting trip!! Our tour guide Ken was excellent. We were picked up at our hotel in the morning and we were off to this exciting trip. Some snacks,coffee and water were provided before the trip. Winter time is definitely the best time to visit Valley of fire because of the temperature. It was a very good day trip to be away from the Las Vegas strip.

  • This tour was by a TakeTours partner. I got to sit in the front with the guide/driver, Jurgen. The tour was very good, it took us to different areas and the landscape all looked different. Sandwich lunch was included which was nice. The weather and temperature was perfect in December. You don't need a coat, just a fleece jacket will do so that you can take off later in the day. We did get a short hike in, which is not part of the tour at one of the stops because the group wanted to do it. I enjoyed viewing the petroglyps and interesting rock formations. At the end of the tour, Jurgen let us sit in the driver seat for a photo opportunity. Overall, good tour. I would recommend it.
