Lake Mead Cruise and
Hoover Dam combo adventure begins as your driver guide introduces you to our new and quickly growing Las Vegas Valley. Along our scenic journey to Lake Mead, you'll be exposed to the many forms of exotic desert vegetation and surrounding wildlife the Las Vegas Valley has to offer.
Upon reaching Lake Mead, you're off on a wonderful scenic cruise aboard the Desert Princess. This excursion over the pristine waters of Lake Mead will provide you with a one-of-a-kind look at this great man-made natural wonder. Your 1.5 hour cruise includes lunch and will expose you to amazing scenery such as the Arizona Paint Pots, Boulder Island, the Colorado River, and the ancient volcanic rock formations which surround the lake.
After your cruise aboard the Desert Princess, you’re off to one of the engineering wonders of the modern world: Hoover Dam. You will have plenty of free time to take the Power Plant Tour of the Dam, browse through the gift shops, and enjoy the exhibit center and observation deck. After our visit, we will finish our excursion with a stop at the Ethel M Chocolate Factory to learn more about the chocolate making process and taste some of the factory’s chocolate treats. Then we will head back to Las Vegas, arriving around 6:00pm.
