Day 1

We will begin our tour at Plaza Olvera, from where we will go to Chinatown. In this short walk, you will get to know one of the most typical neighborhoods, as well as walk on the oldest street in the city, Olvera Street. You will enjoy wonderful views of its iconic temples, museums, streets, and squares. lt's time to get on our comfortable bus! We will ride along the. famous Grand Avenue until we reach the memorable Walt Disney Concert Hall, also noted for its contemporary architecture. Here, you can walk among the skyscrapers of Downtown, and see its City Hall or the Cathedral of Our Lady of Los Angeles. After getting to know the center of the city of stars, we will head toward the Griffith Observatory. Here we will have one of the best views of the city. From its beautiful building, you will be able to see Los Angeles skyline from above, or if you prefer, take a picture with the iconic Hollywood sign in the background. After taking some nice photos, it's time to head to our next destination. On Hollywood Boulevard we will be lucky enough to see the outstanding Walk of Fame. Our guide will tell you its secrets, relevances and will show you the history behind the most iconic buildings in this place. You will see the Chinese Theater, where the movie premieres take place, or the Kodak Theater, where the Oscars are held. You will also see the historic Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, where Marilyn Monroe stayed for a while. You will feel like a real star walking through this place! To disconnect a bit from the big city, we will head towards the coast until we reach Santa Monica. Here you will enjoy free time to walk along its well-known pier, get to know its. Pacific Park, or tour the iconic Venice Beach while appreciating the incredible views of the sea. You will be able to feel the full essence of Los Angeles visiting the best that the city has to offer!

Chinatown

The Chinatown in Los Angeles, California is located in the downtown area of the city, is one of California's three major Chinese ethnic neighborhoods. It is a large area containing many popular spots for both tourists and locals.

Olvera Street

This pedestrian mall in downtown LA is the oldest part of the city. Now a historic state landmark, Olvera Street is home to many craft shops and Mexicali restaurants. There are many kiosks lining the street as well.

Walt Disney Concert Hall

The Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles was opened in 2003. Its dramatic exterior architecture has quickly turned it into a recognizable landmark, and it is home to the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra.

Griffith Observatory

The Griffith Observatory overlooks the city of Los Angeles from the slopes of Mount Lee, full of astronomical and other scientific themed exhibits. Since its opening in the 1930s, admission has been free.

Hollywood Sign

Easily the most recognizable attraction in Los Angeles, images of the Hollywood Sign almost go hand-in-hand with thoughts of the LA film industry. The sign overlooks the city from the south side of Mount Lee.

Hollywood Boulevard

This internationally famous neighborhood in downtown Los Angeles attracts a litany of tourists every year to its iconic hills. With a seemingly endless supply of famous landmarks, shops, and eateries, visitors will be floored by this centerpiece of cinema.

Confirmation

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book airline tickets until you receive the confirmation.

Redemption

You will receive a confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order is processed. Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.
Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Take tours for details.
Cancellation penalties per person (Notification day and departure day are not counted)
More than 24 hours prior to departure - No penalty.
Less than 24 hours prior to departure - 100% per person.
Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
