Day 1: Los Angeles - Las Vegas - St. George (389 miles)

In the morning, we will depart from Los Angeles and drive through the immense Mojave Desert. We will then make a stop at Seven Magic Mountains, which is located around 20 miles south of Las Vegas. We can take beautiful photos here. In the afternoon, we will pass by Las Vegas and then arrive at St. George where we will spend the night .

Day 2: St. George - Antelope Canyon - Horseshoe Bend - Salt Lake City (394 miles)

After breakfast, head to the Colorado Plateau, the only desert plateau. For hundreds of millions of years, the Colorado River and its tributaries that run through the plateau have been washed away and eroded, creating many world-class canyon wonders. The land of global photography enthusiasts - Antelope Caves and Horseshoe Bay - is on this highland dreamland. Stay overnight in Salt Lake City.

Day 3: Salt Lake City - Jackson - Grand Teton - Yellowstone - West Yellowstone (379 miles)

In the morning, we will head to the small town of Jackson, WY. Afterwards we will head into Grand Teton National Park to take in the view of Jackson Lake and Teton Peak. From there, we will take you into Yellowstone National Park. We will see 15 of Yellowstone's major scenery sites over the spans of 3 days, including Old Faithful, Grand Prismatic Spring and Fountain Paint Pot. We will spend the night in West Yellowstone town.

    Fishing Bridge

    Located near the mouth of the Yellowstone River, the Fishing Bridge is a great location to spot the native Cutthroat trout. There is an RV park of the same name nearby.

    Due to the Fishing Bridge is under repair and no parking is available since July 9 2019, we will replace it with the Gibbon Falls. When to reopen is subject to the attraction notice.

    West Thumb Geyser Basin

    The West Thumb Geyser Basin is the largest geyser basin at Yellowstone Lake, and an impressive area of geothermal activity that contains hot springs, mud pots, and geysers-- some of which are even in the lake itself.

Day 4: Yellowstone National Park

Today we will continue our tour inside Yellowstone National Park, visiting Yellowstone Canyon, Yellowstone Fall, Biscuit Basin and more. Stay overnight at West Yellowstone.

    Although Thomas Moran's famous sketches of Yellowstone falls were actually done from the northern rim (now known as Moran Point), the name Artist Point has stuck with this area for more than a century because of its beauty.

    This hot spring in the Upper geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming is famous for it's bright red-orange and blue-green coloring. These colors come from the bacteria which inhabit the geyser's interior.

    Biscuit Basin

    Three miles north of Old Faithful is Biscuit Basin, named for the unusual biscuit-like deposits formerly surrounding Sapphire Pool. Following the 1959 Hebgen Lake earthquake, Sapphire erupted, and the "biscuits" were blown away.

Day 5: Yellowstone National Park - Salt Lake City (369 miles)

In the morning, we will continue our tour inside Yellowstone National Park, visiting Norris Basin. After we all finished those amazing attractions, will exit the park to Salt City. In the afternoon, we will see the State Capitol building, Temple Square of Mormon Church and the Great Salt Lake when we get to Salt Lake City.

Day 7: Las Vegas - Grand Canyon West Rim - Las Vegas or Las Vegas Free Time (541 miles)

Today customers can either choose to visit Grand Canyon West Rim or spend a free day in Las Vegas.
Grand Canyon West Rim: In the morning, we will head towards the Grand Canyon, where we will visit famous Eagle Point and the Skywalk Glass Bridge. Then, we will travel to Guano Point for an incredible view. For an even better view, guests can pay an extra fee to take a helicopter tour. Tour ends when we back to Las Vegas.
Note: If customers choose free time in Las Vegas instead of visiting Grand Canyon West Rim, Customers need to pay $30/person.

Additional Note

  • Booking: Please book airline tickets after your tour booking is confirmed, which should occur within 1 business day.
  • Antelope Canyon Policy: Due to safety reason, people have physical difficulties are not recommended to take this tour. Access to Lower Canyon requires hiking and using ladders up to 25 feet in length to climb down. Steep stairs involved and some narrow passages to walk through. Local canyon tour guide is entitled to make the decision and may reject them to get into the canyon. Guests would take full responsibility for any possible circumstance and there would be no refund for any failure entry to the canyon.

Confirmation

  • All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book airline tickets until you receive the confirmation.

Redemption

  • You will receive a confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order is processed. Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

    The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.
  • Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
  • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of the reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Take tours for details.
  • Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
    30 or more days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount
    15-29 days or more prior to departure - 25% of the total purchase amount.
    10-14 days prior to departure - 30% of total purchase amount.
    6-9 days prior to departure - 50% of the total purchase amount.
    Within 5 days prior to departure or no show - 100% of the total purchase amount.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit the entire payment.
    Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain the normal operation.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.
  • Hotel Policy
    Smoking is strictly prohibited at all hotels, violation of this rule will result in a penalty of $300/person, along with other legal liabilities. A valid credit card is required for guests to check in at the hotel.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strive to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods, duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserve the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
