Day 1: New York - Hersheys Chocolates World - Antique Auto Museum - Christmas Village (212 miles)

In the morning, guests will be picked up in Chinatown in New York City. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations. We will depart the city, driving through New Jersey and Pennsylvania until we reach Hershey's Chocolate World. Here we will enjoy an enjoyable Omnimover ride that simulates the chocolate making process. Our tour of this facility will conclude with a free sample of a Hershey's product. While we are in Hershey, we will also visit the Antique Automobile Club of America Museum, which houses over 120 different types and styles of cars from different periods. Then we will head to Koziar's Christmas Village in nearby Reading. Here we will see thousands of dazzling, colorful Christmas lights and hear holiday music in an atmosphere filled with a variety of fairy tale characters. We will be able to buy memorable Christmas gifts and souvenirs.

Fun, sweetness and adventure await at Hershey's Chocolate World. You'll be greeted by giant Hershey's product characters as you enter this delightful world of food, shops and entertainment devoted to all things chocolate.

Explore the many wonders of CHOCOLATE! At Hershey's Chocolate World, a free 10-minute automated ride takes you through the steps of producing chocolate, from picking the cocoa beans to making candy bars.
Reading, PA

Reading is a city in and the county seat of Berks County, Pennsylvania, United States. With a population of 87,575, it is the fifth-largest city in Pennsylvania.

Koziar's Christmas Village

This amazing Christmas attraction in eastern Pennsylvania makes use of more than a half million Christmas lights and other amazing effects to create a wondrous display of holiday cheer. It has been called the "Best Outdoor Christmas Display in the World."

Day 2: Washington DC - New York (224 miles)

Today, we will spend our time in the Washington, D.C. area. We will visit ICE!, a sculpture exhibition created by dozens of artists from 2 million pounds of ice. For an entire month leading up to the exhibition's opening, these artists transform the refrigerated where it is held into a remarkable icy wonderland. Next, we will visit the National Museum of the American Indian, operated under the auspices of the Smithsonian Institution. This museum's collection includes more than 800,000 objects, as well as a photographic archive of 125,000 images. In the evening, we will make our way back to New York, where guests will be dropped off to bring an end to this tour.

Washington, DC

The capital of the United States of America sits on the scenic Potomac River. Monuments, museums, and Americana characterize this historic city, which is located in the District of Columbia between the states of Maryland and Virginia.

ICE! Sculpture Exhibition

The theme of this ice sculpture festival changes each year, but the level of skill the goes into carving the incredible sculptures does not! The sculptures are illuminated by thousands of small LEDs. THis is fun for the whole family.

National Museum of the American Indian

One of the many fantastic museums of the Smithsonian Institution, this facility is dedicated to the life, languages, literature, history, and arts of the native Americans of the Western Hemisphere.

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Terms & Condition

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. The time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through webmail at Contact Us .
Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
15 days or more prior to departure - Free cancellation with full refund. Please reconfirm the penalty for the added hotel or flight ticket.
8-14 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
Within 7 days prior to departure or no show - 100% of the total purchase amount.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain the normal operation.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.
Itinerary Variations
We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
