Day 1

Guests will be picked up in Rio de Janeiro to begin this tour. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations. We will make our way to Cosme Velho, a traditional Rio neighborhood, to catch the Corcovado Cog Rail for a journey through the dense Atlantic rain forest of Tijuca, a hand-planted urban forest. At the summit of Corcovado, we will see the 125 foot tall Christ the Redeemer Statue, which also offers the best view of the city. The tour will continue to the neighborhood of Sao Conrado and Pepino Beach, where we will see hang gliders land. Afterward, guests will return to their hotels, bringing this tour to an end.

Pick ups at Barra da Tijuca available with addtional $10 tansportation fee.
Free hotel pick up is available from major Rio De Janeiro hotels around 2:00pm*. Please put hotel name in the "Hotel Info" area when booking. Exact pick up time and departure location will confirm later.
