Bay Area - Monterey - Carmel (152 miles)
Our first stop will be Monterey Bay Aquarium. and from there we will continue on to make the 17-Mile Drive along Monterey Bay and visit the nearby village of Carmel, CA.
Monterey was the capital of Alta California under both Spain and Mexico. It was the only port of entry for taxable goods in California. In 1846 the U.S. flag was raised over the Customs House, and California became part of the United States after the ensuing Mexican-American War.
This breathtaking stretch of coastline along California's Monterey Peninsula takes visitors through a maze of beautiful scenery, unique wildlife, and amazing mansions. Enjoy shopping and dining along the way in addition to taking in the vistas.
The famous Californian Monterey Bay is world-renown for its beauty and wildlife. In addition to the scenic routes that huge the bay's shorelines, visitors can see animals like otters, bottlenose dolphins, and if they're lucky, even humpback whales.

This large aquarium in Monterey, California is home to some of the world's largest and most unique exhibits. It was both the first aquarium to successfully keep a great white shark and cultivate a kelp forest for show.

Officially called Carmel-by-the-Sea, this coastal Southern California town is known for its amazing scenery as well as its art scene past and present. Former mayors include Clint Eastwood, Perry Newberry, and Herbert Heron, among other artistic icons.

Today, we will visit famous Silicon Valley to see the headquarters of the world's largest tech companies.
Then, we will visit the newest, largest, and most high-end outlets in the Bay Area, the Livermore Premium Outlets, where we will be able to shop for the most famous luxury brands from around the world. Afterwards, we will head back to San Francisco for the evening.
