Day 1: San Francisco/ Los Angeles - Las Vegas

Guests have a variety of options in terms of how they get to Las Vegas.
  • Option 1: Take the tour bus from San Francisco with an onboard guide.
  • Option 2: Fly to Las Vegas (airfare not included).
  • Option 3: Take the express bus from Los Angeles.
    Alternatively, they can arrive in Las Vegas on their own. Guests will gather at the Excalibur Casino & Hotel Las Vegas ( rear rotunda behind Starbucks) (address: 3850 Las Vegas Blvd South, Las Vegas, NV 89109). Guests can self-checkin to the hotel after 3 PM.

    Day 2: Las Vegas - Winslow - Canyon de Chelly - Gallup (423 miles)

    Today we will visit the Barringer Crater first. Then we will head to the Navajo Nation, where a tour guide will lead us through the Canyon de Chelly, a beautiful landscape as well as an important site for anthropological archaeology. We will spend the night in Gallup.

      This town in Arizona gets a name drop in the Jackson Browne song "Take It Easy." La Posada Hotel is the most famous building in town. Meteor Crater is located a short drive outside of the main town.

      Barringer Crater

      The Barringer Crater is about 1,200 m in diameter and 170 m deep, it's proclaimed to be the "best preserved meteor crater on Earth."

      Millions years of land uplifts and steams cutting created the colorful sheer cliff walls of Canyon De Chelly.

    Day 3: Gallup - Albuquerque - Taos - Sante Fe (302 miles)

    In the morning we will head to Albuquerque, NM, where we will tour the historic city and visit the Sky City Cultural Center. After, we will visit the Taos Pueblo in Taos, NM, where we will learn more about Native Culture. Then we will continue to Sante Fe.

      The most populous city in the U.S. state of New Mexico. Albuquerque is home to the University of New Mexico, also the home of the International Balloon Fiesta, the world's largest such gathering of hot-air balloons from around the globe. The event takes place during October.

      Sky City Cultural Center

      This Native American cultural center is located in the pueblo of Acoma, an hour outside Albuquerque. It focuses on the history of the pueblo and, in addition to exhibits and artifacts, hosts tours of the ancient town.

      Taos Pueblo

      This ancient Native American settlement has been standing for more than one thousand years, and has been occupied almost continuously over that millennia. Its long history has earned it a place on the National Register of Historic Places.

    Day 4: Santa Fe - Albuquerque - White Sands National Monument - Las Cruces (334 miles)

    Today we will tour Santa Fe. Afterwards we will drive for Albuquerque. Next we will head to White Sands National Monument. We will spend the night in Las Cruces.

      Petroglyph National Monument

      Petroglyph National Monument protects a variety of cultural and natural resources including five volcanic cones, hundreds of archeological sites and an estimated 24,000 images carved by Ancestral Pueblo peoples and early Spanish settlers.

    • Alamogordo, NM

      The seat of Otero County, New Mexico, United States, known for its connection with the Trinity test, the first explosion of an atomic bomb.

      White Sands National Monument

      This national monument in south-central New Mexico covers more than 140,000 acres in the Tularosa Basin. The striking sand dunes that give the park its name get their color from gypsum crystals, which are rarely found in sand.

    Day 5: Las Cruces - Tombstone - Saguaro National Park - Tucson - Phoenix (436 miles)

    Today, we will visit Saguaro National Park, stopping along the way in Tombstone, AZ, for a rest and an optional gunfight performance that will recreate a Western cowboy street fight right before our eyes. Next we will visit the Biosphere 2 in Tucson. We will spend the night in Phoenix.

      Founded in 1879, Tombstone is a historic town and national historic landmark district. Visitors enjoy reenactments of gun duels, and performances and festivals that celebrate the wild west. Important attractions include the O.K. Corral frontage, Boothill Graveyard, Schiefflin's Mine, Big Nose Kate's Saloon, and Bird Cage Theatre.
    • Saguaro National Park, AZ

      Saguaro National Park, AZ
      Showcases the many faces of the Sonoran Desert, including all of the myriad and fascinating types of cacti and wildlife.
    • Tucson, AZ

      Tucson, AZ
      Tucson has grown into a modern metropolis without entirely sacrificing its historic quarters. Equal parts college town and retirement community, it's one of the more attractive big cities of the Southwest.

      Biosphere 2

      Biosphere 2 is an experimental facility now owned by the University of Arizona. It was created to test whether humans could live in a second, artificially constructed environment. Today, it is open for tours and research discussion.

    Day 6: Phoenix - London Bridge - Las Vegas (346 miles)

    After the State Capitol, we will visit the London Bridge. We will arrive in Las Vegas in the evening.

      Arizona Capitol Museum

      Arizona Capitol Museum is made largely from materials indigenous to Arizona. The materials include malapai, granite and the copper dome. The design is optimal for the desert climate of Arizona. The building is topped with a weathervane similar to the Winged Victory of Samothrace which is seen visible through a skylight from within the rotunda.
    • Lake Havasu City, AZ

      Lake Havasu City is a city in Mohave County, Arizona, United States. London Bridge crosses a narrow channel that leads from Lake Havasu to Thompson Bay, which has become the second-largest tourist attraction in Arizona after the Grand Canyon. "Day of the Wolves" is a 1971 heist film starring Richard Egan, which was the first movie to be made on location in the new town of Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

      London Bridge

      There's no misnomer here-- this bridge is originally from London. In 1831, this bridge was a passageway over the River Thames in London, England. A unique and strange journey led it across the ocean and into central Arizona.

    Today, we will drive back to San Francisco to end this tour. Guests may choose to fly out of Las Vegas, but will need to arrange their own transportation to the airport. If you choose to back to Los Angeles, a transportation fee of $35/person will be charged.     • Los Angeles/Rosemead/Huntington Park pick up services offered by local public transportation. Guests are allowed to carry one piece of luggage per person for free, and the second one is subject to a $10 fee. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the departure time.
    • Those who are joining the tour in Los Angeles by bus or fly directly to Las Vegas should meet the guide at the Westgate Las Vegas lobby at 7:30PM.
    • Self Dismiss in Las Vegas: Guests may choose to be dismissed in Las Vegas instead of continuing back to San Francisco. There will be no airport transfer.
    • Bus back to Los Angeles: Guests may take Vegas Express back to Los Angeles for an extra fee of $35 per person, duration is about 4.5 hours

    • If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.
    • Mandatory Admission Fee: $50/person including Santa Fe, White Sand National Park, Saguaro National Park, London Bridge.
    • Air fares between your city and the starting city.
    • All meals and drinks during the trip, although eating arrangements will be made by the tour guide.
    • A mandatory service fees total of $10 /day/person should be paid in cash to tour guide and the bus driver as a service fee. Any child / Infant reserving a seat will have to pay the service fees as well. Ex: 2 people taking a 2-day tour would pay: $10 x 2 (seats) x 2 (days) = $40.
    • Personal room fees such as laundry or valet services, telephone calls, or alcoholic beverages/ mini bar items, unless they are otherwise specified.

    Additional Note

    • All guests traveling from Los Angeles are allowed to carry one piece of luggage per person for free, and additional one will be charged $10/each. Recommended luggage size is 27" x 21" x 14", please do not bring oversized luggage.

    • All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book airline tickets until you receive the confirmation.

    Redemption

    • You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order was received. Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your Confirmation Email (e-ticket). When you reserve your attractions and services you will be asked to print e-tickets to present when you arrive at your destination. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

    • Cancellation and Refund policy (Notification day and departure day are not counted)
      All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within one business day after purchase, customers will be fully refunded if the orders cannot be confirmed.
      Cancellations received up to 15 days prior to departure - 20% of total purchase amount.
      Cancellations received within 8-14 days of departure will incur a penalty of 30% total purchase amount.
