Itinerary

Overview

Our day will begin in Eilat, where we will cross the border into Jordan to visit Petra, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Driving along the desert highway, we will pass Wadi Ram. Once we reach Petra, we will pass through the Siq, which will build our anticipation and excitement before we see the Treasury. After that, the tour will take us along central Colonnade Street. For lunch, we will enjoy an open buffet at Nabatean's Tent Restaurant. At the end of our exploration, we will return to Eilat.

Petra, JORDAN

Petra is a historical and archaeological city in the southern Jordanian governorate of Ma'an that is famous for its rock-cut architecture and water conduit system. Another name for Petra is the Rose City due to the color of the stone out of which it is carved.

Departure & Return

This day tour to Petra in Jordan departs in the morning from Eilat. You will be picked up from your Eilat hotel (or from Tel Aviv) at 7:30am. At 8:00am our representatives and tour guide will meet you at the Arava border crossing, and will arrange your visa and assist you in the border crossing.
Sunday to Thursday are available from Tel Aviv with flights.

Additional Note

Have a valid Passport and landing card available when you reserve (We require your passport number, place and date of issue, date of birth and expiry date for reservation).
Voucher and visa/tax/tip money - in cash only (payable in U.S dollars, Pound Sterling or Israeli Shekel).
Very warm clothing in winter, cool comfortable clothing and head covering in summer.
Good walking shoes.
No food or drink (water included) is allowed across into Jordan.
Lunch will be late, so please have breakfast before departure.
Personal insurance is not included.
