Day 1: New York - Cherry Blossom Cruise - Washington D.C (226 miles)

Leaving New York in the morning, We will arrive Washington D.C. in the afternoon, and we have chance to take a boat on the Tailor Lake and enjoy the Cherry Blossom at leisure. Also from the boat, you will pass the president yacht deck where the glorious president yacht catch your eyes, and then followed by the Pentagon, Arlington National Cemetery, Gorge town and Washington Monument. Surly you will have a fully eye of the blooming cherry blossom. You will also have an exiting day with the tour to USA capital - Washington DC, the world power center. The highlights are the White House, Capitol Hill, Washington Monument, Vietnam War and Korean War Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln memorial.

Washington, DC

The capital of the United States of America sits on the scenic Potomac River. Monuments, museums, and Americana characterize this historic city, which is located in the District of Columbia between the states of Maryland and Virginia.

US Capitol

The famous United States Capitol is the meeting place of the US Congress, and has been for more than 200 years. The building is famous for its elaborate dome and intricately designed, detailed columns.

Jefferson Memorial

The Thomas Jefferson Memorial is a memorial to the third president of the United States. The impressive building is neoclassical in design and has been standing since 1943. It sees more than two million visitors every year. It's only available during the Cherry Blossom time.

Lincoln Memorial

This iconic American monument honors the 16th president of the United States. Abraham Lincoln was president during the American Civil War, and is most famous for the Emancipation Proclamation that freed all of the slaves in the US.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial

This memorial in Washington, DC serves as a place to remember the American soldier who were lost or killed during the tumultuous Vietnam War. Originally controversial in design, the simple memorial has become a shrine for the American people.

Washington Monument

This iconic obelisk is a memorial to the commander-in-chief of the American revolutionary army and eventual the first president of the United States of America, George Washington. The massive stone structure began construction in 1848.

Korean War Veterans Memorial

This memorial commemorates those who served for the United States in the Korean War. It is located south of the Reflecting Pool at the National Mall. The simple memorial is triangular in shape will a circle at the top.

White House

The world-famous White House in Washington, DC is the official residence of the president of the United States and the place where most of the work is done. The facade of this neoclassical mansion is a global icon.

Camden, NJ

A city in Camden County, New Jersey. Camden is located directly across the Delaware River from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Camden waterfront holds four tourist attractions, the USS New Jersey; the BB&T Pavilion; Campbell's Field; and the Adventure Aquarium.

Adventure Aquarium

This massive aquarium is the only aquarium in the world to have hippopotamus and the only in the US with Great Hammerhead sharks. The two-building campus has over 8,500 animals and two million gallons of water.

We enjoyed the 2 day Cherry Blossom Washington DC tour. The guide should know that there were few tourist who were not hungry or not in the mood for a buffet dinner. The guide did not provide a place for these tourists a safe comfortable place to sit. Outside it was chilly (nearly 35F degree). We had to stand outside in the cold night. Otherwise all went well. Guides, bus driver and bus were in great shape.
