After breakfast aboard our private bus, starting in the sophisticated neighborhood of Recoleta, see the cemetery where Eva Peron is buried and the Church of Our Lady of Pilar. We'll continue on to Palermo, with its elegant residences and Japanese gardens, then on to the colorful neighborhood of La Boca featuring typical cantinas. The oldest area of San Telmo with cobbled streets is also home to many tango houses. Finally, see the modern side of town showing off its port warehouses converted to chic flats in Puerto Madero. In the everning, we'll enjoy the Tango show with dinner.

Puerto Madero

Today we'll enter the Tierra del Fuego National Park. This large protected area includes forests with lush vegetation, the presence of animals such as beavers and turquoise water lakes. There are many trails that you can walk through the park, we especially recommend you to go to the Acigami Lake viewpoint, and do the coastal trail, the most popular one. Then touring Ushuaia's famous islands while sailing the Beagle Channel. Once we get back to the port, you can make your way back to your hotel or stop in a local cafe or brewery to enjoy an amber craft beer paired with a traditional Patagonian appetizer.

Sailing the Beagle Channel
Make your way to the tourist pier (located downtown) to embark on a 4-hour Beagle Channel navigation in a fully equipped boat with a capacity for up to 26 people. With Argentina on your left and Chile on your right, you’ll sail this natural border until you reach the iconic Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse. On the way, enjoy uplifting panoramic views of Ushuaia Bay, crowned by the Martial Glacier’s diverse marine wildlife, such as cormorants (flying birds, closely related to penguins) and fur seals. Hop off on Bridges Island to explore its vegetation and visit the archeological remains of the Yamanas (the native inhabitants) accompanied by a specialized bilingual guide. During the trip, enjoy bottomless hot cocoa and cookies, or try the maté (loose herbal tea), which is every Argentinian’s favorite drink.

The Husky Experience (218 km)

Setting off from your hotel we head towards the Tierra Mayor Valley, where our Musher instructor will welcome us with an introductory talk on huskies and dog sledding and a visit to the dog kennels. Then we'll begin our sled driving instruction, getting to know the techniques for setting them up and steering them. We'll put the harnesses on the dogs, hook up the sleds and at the command of SIGA! The experience will be underway. This dog-sled adventure is going to be both fun and intense; as you catch a feel for mushing you'll lead the dog-sled caravan deep into the snow filled valley towards the Woodsman's refuge where we'll take on some much needed calories; after resting, both dogs and mushers alike will take up the odyssey again, travelling through woods, over frozen rivers and experiencing the magic of the silent white landscape.

This full-day navigation and ice trekking adventure begins with a scenic catamaran tour through Lago Argentino's iceberg-filled channels. The route offers panoramic views of the Upsala, Spegazzini, and Perito Moreno glaciers, with close-up perspectives of ice walls towering 80-143 meters above the water. A guided walk at Puesto de Las Vacas allows for flora and fauna exploration.
The highlight is the optional ice trek on Perito Moreno Glacier ($250-330 USD). After crossing the lake by boat, expert guides provide crampons and helmets for a safe, one-hour walk on the glacier. It's over 2 miles long and boasts 275 individual waterfalls cascading down 260 feet into the gorge below. It also features over 200 species of flora and 400 species of birds and wild animals.

Iguazu Brasil Side (18 km)

After being picked up from your hotel, cross the border into Brazil's Iguacu National Park. This side of the falls offers the best perspective to see Garganta del Diablo ( Devil's Throat ). Admire the 2-mile ( 3.2-km ) stretch of the falls, which curves across the Parana Plateau in a half-moon horseshoe of white water, verdant islets, and mist-drenched rocks. Trek down the trails of the park's subtropical forest to the base of Floriano Falls. Watch for nosy, raccoon-like coatis along the way.

In the morning, we'll take an excursion to the Argentine Falls, walking along the upper and lower paths to get a really close view of the imposing cascading wall of water. The environment is also exquisite due to the amazing variety of ferns, orchids, begonias, birds and butterflies. In the afternoon, we will take an open train departing from the Visitor Center to the 'Garganta Station'where we disembark for a 1 mile walk up to the Devil's Throat balcony, to share one of the greatest shows on earth. Return by train to the Visitor Center where you'll experience the "Great Adventure", a brief cruise which will allow you to approach the bottom of the San Martin and Tres Mosqueteros falls with an outstanding view of the Devil's Throat. Recap your day's adventure over dinner in the hotel.
