  • Cape Town: Stroll around the scenic harbour and enjoy some Insta-worthy views, at South Africa's most-visited attraction. 
  • Cape Town: Cable the Table! Take a scenic ride to the top of one of the ‘New Seven Wonders of Nature’ for 360° views of Cape Town. 
  • Cape Town: Bo-Kaap. The City Centre. V&A Waterfront. This tour takes in all the historical sites & attractions of the Mother City.  
  • Kruger: Our Special Stay is located right inside one of Africa's most famous Wildlife Reserves (that's also within one of its most popular Main Camps - Lower Sabie!). The camp is perched on the banks of the incredible Sabie River with a shop, swimming pool and riverside restaurant, where you can to look out for wildlife coming down to drink. Our exclusive camp comprises of canvas dome tents with stretchers, mattresses, linen, towels and charging outlets. Plus, there's a communal firepit to sit around late into the night, gazing at the stars and listening to the calls of nocturnal animals.
  • Kruger National Park: We’ll head into Kruger National Park, one of the most famous wildlife parks in the whole of Africa, to witness wildlife in their natural habitat.
  • Kruger National Park: Wanna know how K9 Dogs protect wildlife? Come meet one of our Rangers who'll tell you all about the K9 Watchdog Project, their fight against poachers, and how your donations from the MAKE TRAVEL MATTER® Experience helps them save Africa's wildlife from extinction.
  • Kruger National Park: Keep your eyes peeled and those binoculars close. We're heading out to spot more magnificent wildlife (cross those fingers for rhino's!) and stunning scenery with our last game drive as we say goodbye to Kruger.
  • Victoria Falls: See the epic waterfall of your Insta dreams. Take a stroll along the edge and see this ‘the smoke that thunders’ in all its glory.   
  • Chobe: Ready for a night you'll never forget? Our Special Stay in Chobe is a serene camp that's surrounded by nature. You'll find dome tents with stretcher beds, linen and mattress pre-setup in our accommodation for the night. Plus, there's a dining tent and fire to sit around late into the night under millions of stars. Note: Camping in Chobe is only available from April to October, the rest of the year will be at a lodge accommodation outside the park.
  • Chobe: Coast along the banks of the Chobe River in search of thirsty wildlife coming down to drink. 
  • Chobe: Be on the lookout for any wildlife we may have heard the night before! 
  • Okavango Delta: A night in Africa’s Eden? Yep. This is your true African escape, away from technology. It's gonna be just you, nature and the incredible sights, sounds and smells of the wilderness. Our campsite is located right next to the Khwai river where all forms of wildlife (great and small) come down to drink. So, keep your camera with you! Camp staff will set up your tents as well as cook all your meals on open fires. Your tents come with stretchers, mattresses, linen and towels. And the campsite also has a chill tent during the day for relaxing between Game Drives.
  • Okavango Delta: Our first taste of the Okavango Delta, as we head to our Contiki Safari Camp. Hopefully spotting some of the ‘Big Five’ on our way. 
  • Okavango Delta: Get up with the sun in search of the amazing wildlife in this garden of Eden. 
  • Okavango Delta: Enjoy another taste of wildlife spotting this afternoon.
  • Okavango Delta: Enjoy a sunset trip along the waterways of the Khwai River, looking out for the incredible animals that live here. 
  • Okavango Delta: It’s our last drive in the Delta! And our last chance to see any wildlife that eluded us on previous jaunts.

  • EXCLUSIVE AGE: This trip is exclusively for travellers aged 35 to 45 at the time of travel.
  • START/END TIMES: Trip starts in Cape town at 18:00 and ends in Maun at 10:00. Departure Flights from Maun Airport can be booked at any time on the last day.
  • SOUTH AFRICA: USA passport holders traveling to South Africa do not require a visa for tourism stays up to 90 days. However, please ensure that guests passport has at least 2 blank visa pages. Guests must be in possession of a return air ticket or onward ticket.
  • ZIMBABWE: USA passport holders require a visa for Zimbabwe. The visa is obtained upon arrival.
  • BOTSWANA: USA passport holders traveling to Botswana do not require a visa for tourism stays up to 90 days. However, please ensure that guests passport has at least 3 blank visa pages.
  • IMPORTANT: Please see important visa details sent with your invoice.
  • ENTRY INTO SOUTH AFRICA: All travellers entering or leaving South Africa must complete an online traveller declaration at Customs Online Traveller Declaration | South African Revenue Service before they travel. The declaration must be submitted no more than 24 hours before departure and is required for Customs purposes. Website https://www.sars.gov.za/travellerdeclaration/
  • VACCINATION: Yellow Fever vaccination is recommended for trips visiting East Africa. Yellow Fever certificate is not required unless travellers are arriving from or transiting through a country or region listed by the WHO as infected with Yellow Fever (e.g. Kenya). Recommend travellers check with doctor for immunizations and vaccinations prior to travel.
  • LUGGAGE: Luggage allowance is limited to 1 medium sized bag (ideally soft-sided and non-wheely suitcases as they drag sand into the rooms) per traveller at maximum of 23kg/50lbs, plus 1 piece of hand luggage per traveller to be used as an overnight bag in the Okavango Delta. Refer to trip documents for any exceptions.
  • GROUND HANDLERS: Contiki sometimes uses ground handlers or third parties to assist with the full or partial operation of our products. The ground handler for this trip is Earthark Safaris (Botswana). Contiki Trip Manager will be onboard.
  • NOTE: At Victoria Falls the trip stays in Zambia from January to June and Zimbabwe at Victoria Falls from July to December. A towel is required for this trip.
