  • If your arrival and/or departure flights are as per the itinerary start and end dates, then transfers are available at scheduled times. If your flights are outside these times, or you have booked additional nights accommodation with Insight Vacations, you may purchase transfers or make your own way from/to the airport.

Additional Notes

  • DAY 1: Complimentary arrival transfers depart Helsinki Vantaa Airport (HEL) at 10:00, 14:00 and 16:00 on the first day of the tour. Guests should arrive at least 2 hours before the last transfer time.
  • DAY 10: Complimentary departure transfers arrive at Oslo Gardermoen Airport (OSL) on the last day of the tour at 07:15 and 10:15.
  • CLOTHING RECOMMENDATIONS: The weather during the winter months in Scandinavia and northern Europe is often icy and extremely cold. We therefore recommend that guests bring appropriate clothing, a warm waterproof jacket and trousers/pants are definitely advised. In addition, as many paths may be slippery, we recommend bringing sturdy winter walking boots and packing crampons or ice grips to ensure safety and comfort while exploring during the winter months. Guests are required to bring their own Arctic-appropriate clothing, as Insight Vacations does not supply thermal clothing.
  • PORTERAGE: Please note that porterage services are not included at all hotels in Scandinavia.
  • INTERNAL FLIGHT: A single bag is allowed with dimensions not exceeding 35.4"x29.5"x17.7" (90x75x45cm) and weight not exceeding 50lbs. (23kg). Carry-on/hand luggage is restricted to one carry-on piece per person (i.e., cabin suitcase, rucksack or similar), not exceeding 21.6"x15.7"x9" (55x40x23cm) (length x width x depth) with a weight limit of 17lbs. (8kg) to fit it overhead compartment and one small personal item per person (i.e., small handbag/briefcase or similar), not exceeding 15"x11.8"x5.9" (40x30x15cm) (length x width x depth) with a weight limit of 17lbs. (8kg) to fit under the seat in front.
  • NORTHERN LIGHTS: Northern Lights are a natural occurrence and cannot be guaranteed.
  • IMPORTANT: From time to time a different style of coach may be used, which can mean standard legroom and fewer onboard amenities than usual. Please note that your Tour Director and Driver are continuously monitoring the road conditions for your safety and alternative routes might be taken if necessary.
