  • DAY 1: Complimentary arrival transfers from Indira Gandhi International Airport (DEL) depart at 06:00 and 14:00 on the first day of the tour. Guests who have booked their pre-trip accomodation with Trafalgar, or whose flight times do not coincide with the shuttle timings may purchase a chargeable transfer.
  • DAY 11: Complimentary transfers arrive at Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport (VNS) on the last day of the tour at 10:30 and 13:00. Guests who have booked their post-trip accomodation with Trafalgar, or whose flight times do not coincide with the shuttle timings may purchase a chargeable transfer.
  • INDIA: USA passport holders require a visa for India. Visa must be obtained prior to departure, depending on visa type applications can be submitted from 120 days prior to departure up to 4 days prior to departure.
  • IMPORTANT: Please see important visa details sent with your invoice.
  • PROOF OF AIRLINE TICKET: Guests must print out their full flight itinerary including their e-ticket number to enter any airport in India. Due to heightened security at the airport, they must always also have their passport and visa handy. Ground Handler will provide printout of E -tickets to all the guests for internal flight sectors.
  • MANDATORY E-ARRIVAL CARD: Effective April 1, 2026, all foreign nationals and OCI cardholders must complete an e-Arrival Card within 72 hours before arriving in India. A QR code will be issued and must be shown at immigration. Families (up to 5) may submit a single consolidated form. The form can be completed via the Su-Swagatam App, indianvisaonline.gov.in, or boi.gov.in.
  • INTERNAL FLIGHTS: This tour has an included internal flight; any excess luggage charges are at your own expense.
  • LUGGAGE ALLOWANCE: One bag per guest (max 58 in / 147 cm, 44 lbs / 20 kg) plus one personal item (up to 15 lbs / 7 kg) that fits under the seat in front of them or the overhead compartment.
  • IMPORTANT: Minivans or minibuses may also be used depending on the group size. Motorcoaches without toilet facilities are used; the Tour Director will ensure to arrange regular stops on longer journeys.
  • SAFARI REGULATION: From February 2026, official rules apply during wildlife safaris and visits within National Parks and Tiger Reserves in India. Following directions from the Supreme Court of India and local Forest Departments, mobile phones may be carried but must remain switched off or on silent, with no calls, social media, video, or photography allowed. Guests are welcome to bring a camera (DSLR or mirrorless camera), subject to each park's rules and any applicable camera fees.
