Day 2

Day 1: New York - Corning - Niagara Falls (395 miles)

Today we will visit Corning Glass Museum first. After lunch, we will continue on to Niagara Falls, NY. Here, we will visit Goat Island, Cave of the Winds. We will spend the night in hotel which is within walking distance to the Falls. Then we will have free time. You can take a walk to Canada side, try out local cuisines and enjoy casino. At night, we will visit Niagara Falls Illumination and Night View.

Corning, NY

Corning is a city in Steuben County, New York, United States, on the Chemung River. The population was 11,183 at the 2010 census. It is named for Erastus Corning, an Albany financier and railroad executive who was an investor in the company that developed the community.

Corning Museum of Glass

This museum in western New York is dedicated to the history, art, and science behind glassmaking. Its collection contains more than 45,000 objects, some of which date back millennia. It was founded in 1951 and sees 400,000 visitors annually.

Niagara Falls, NY

Among the most beautiful natural wonders in the world, Niagara Falls are comprised of three waterfalls that thunder and astound, producing a higher flow rate than any other waterfall in the world and standing at a height of 167 feet.

Goat Island

Goat Island is an Island in the Niagara River located between the two waterfalls that makes up Niagara Falls. Its Terrapin Point is often visited by tourists and offers some of the most breathtaking views of the falls.

Cave of the Winds

The Cave of the Winds on the New York side of Niagara Falls is an attraction which allows people to walk along pathways on the river at the base of the American Falls.

Cave of the Winds will be closed in winter. If it's closed due to weather condition, we will watch IMAX Movie (U.S. side) instead.

Niagara Falls Illumination

Visitors to Niagara can enjoy a spectacular nighttime illumination of the falls. Please note that a complete view may be limited on certain summer evenings due to the later sunset time and government regulations of driving hours.

Niagara Falls Adventure Theater IMAX

For those who wish to learn more about the geological activity that formed the most compelling natural attraction in the country, this IMAX movie is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the natural and cultural history of the area.

If Cave of the Winds is closed in winter, we will watch IMAX Movie (U.S. side) instead.

Day 2: Niagara Falls - New York (408 miles)

We will take the Niagara Falls In-depth Tour to visit Old Fort Niagara and Whirlpool State Park. Next we will ride the Maid of the Mist. Finally we will return to New York.

Niagara Falls Scenic In-Depth Tour

This interesting and exciting fuller tour of the greater Niagara area takes guests to sights they otherwise may not see, such as the impressive water formation at Whirlpool State Park or the historic Old Fort Niagara.

Old Fort Niagara

This impressive fort traces its colorful history back to 1678 and the establishment of the colony of New France in what would become the northeastern United States. This centuries-old building is a National Historic Landmark of the US.

Whirlpool State Park

Whirlpool State Park overlooks the Niagara Gorge. Have a picnic in the field above before hiking below to see the whirlpool up close. The park includes hiking and biking trails, fishing spots, and a playground.

Maid of the Mist

This famous boat ride gets passengers up close and personal with the Niagara Falls! The Maid rides right into the mists thrown up by the roaring cascade as the Niagara River tumbles over the edge of the falls.

Passport/Visa: If you want to cross the border (no tour leader escort), you will need to bring a US passport or a national passport and a green card. Those who do not have a US passport or green card must have a valid national passport and a valid US and Canadian visa.

More than 10 days prior to departure - No penalty of cancellation or reschedule
7-10 days prior to departure - reschedule or cancel, 50% of total purchase amount can be refunded
Less than 7 day prior to departure or no show - No refund.
Special Case: If there are 10 or more pax in one group, cancellation policy is announced before booking the tour.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.
If the weather condition, war, general strikes, and other unforeseen circumstances interrupt the journey, our company reserves the right to rearrange the journey without refunding the tour fee.
Customers are held solely responsible for their own travel documents and/or visas if required.
Hotel arrangements will be changed depending on the season. You can confirm your hotel information while you are on tour with your tour guide.
