I highly recommend this tour to those who cannot travel by car. The tour bus is very comfortable and stops regularly for restroom breaks. Our tour guide was Justin Chang. He was very helpful and provided all the information required. The only downside is the time to visit the attractions. We need to be a tad fast but it is manageable. Overall, it was a good experience.
Overall the trip was good. The bus was clean and the seats were comfortable. Our tour guide, Jennifer, was very friendly and the trip was very well organized. I would recommend this trip for people who do not like to drive long distances, because you can relax and also will get to see a few other attractions such as Watkins Glen and Corning Glass Museum during this 2 day trip. One negative point is that I feel the service fee is a bit high and not fair to charge even from the little kids.
The actual itinerary followed was different from what is mentioned here.
The trip was okay overall, however it was covered in a big hurry. It shall ideally start earlier in the morning by a couple of hours and end later by another couple of hours. We did not get good amount of time especially at Corning to complete the entire museum even though we did it in a hurry. The Thundering Water Cultural Show is pathetic... do not opt for it. Also, we could not see lights at Niagara in the night as we had to hurry back to the hotel
Overall the tour was good for the kind of money we paid. It started on time from Chinatown. Bus was clean and comfortable. Visit to Corning Museum was good, but too short.
We took dinner break from 5:30pm to 7:30pm! (which was little too early and too long) and then proceeded to Niagara.
I took this particular tour since I was interested in viewing both day and night views of Niagara. But unfortunately, by the time we reached Niagara (around 8:30 pm), it wasn't even dark. We were not allowed to wait to see the night view and were dropped at the hotel (don't know what was the rush).
The hotel room was neat, clean and spacious (Comfort Inn).
Have some cash in hand so that you can pay for the tickets, and also service fees of the guide and driver ($8 per head).
The tour over all was great. Mr Leon our tour guide was great too. However, i feel that if the hotel had been closer we would have had more time at the various tour sites, especially at Niagara Falls and Hiking. But, over all I would do it again.
The 2 day schedule was a bit tight, nevertheless overall it is fantastic. We definitely spent a lot of time in the finger lake area, that reduced the time in Niagara. In the second day we lost a lot of time in the fort as well as the gorge, instead if it included cave of the winds, I would've been more happier. The hotel too was far and 3 hrs are lost in commuting which I didn't like but hotel was comfortable. Overall I liked the trip, thanks very much.
This tour is good worth for the money spent, and is especially a good choice if you do not wish to drive yourself. Hotel stay was good and clean. We enjoyed the glass museum and the show there on the way back from Niagara, good time was spent there. wish there was more time to see more finger lakes. We saw one of them. Overall satisfied.
It was a wonderful experience, Niagara Falls are amazing and our tour guide Tom explained very well all trip from NYC to Niagara Falls.
I really recommend this tour to everybody that want have more information and make an interesting experience.
Tour was great. As expected and you got what you paid for. However, the coach driver was ridiculous. He added fuel midway to the attraction which made us fallen behind schedule! One of the attraction has been canceled. In addition to that, he even smoked when adding fuel! Totally unacceptable. But I believe this has nothing to deal with the tour company. He has been substituted by another coach driver the other day. Overall the tour was fun and absolutely worth going! Besides the coach driver, I was satisfied.
That was amazing. Very well planed and managed. Had a slight delay at the start but our Driver recovered it giving us nealy 1.5 hours of night view of Niagara Falls. Our guide was Mark and both he and the Driver were highly responsibile. I don't have any negative marks.
One suggesion is, good to have an option of paying by cards.
Overall: It was good but there is a lot of room for improvement: Will (the guide) was very helpfull and willing to answer and explain everything. We did not leave on time, and everything was in a rush. I think that the departure time should be earlier( there was no time for anything. The Corning museum is beautiful BUT NOT for 20-30 minutes. There is a lot of history there and it should be at least one hour experience. The Watkins Glen State Park was a breathtaking experience; what a beautiful place. HORRIBLE: the hotel was one hour away from the falls. THE BAD: Not everybody likes McDonalds or chinese food buffets especially when you do not have any other option. There was not enough food for the people of all the buses that were coming so we have to wait until we got to the hotel and order delivery. We rushed from place to place and we had a little time to walk around. I will recommend the tour to friends but as I said before: there is room for improvement.
trip was fun but had very less time at corning glass museum. also please make sure that rest stops r taken at facilities where things r available and not at a no mans land. Amy and Diane were wonderful.
The tour was pretty good. But it was different!!! 1 day was in corning glass center and saw a night view of niagara falls and 2 day we was in the boat and saw an IMAX movie...
Few words about comfort: The bus was small,so I didn't know where to hide my legs... When we stoped to have a dinner even some chinese people didn't go to eat to the chinese buffet... We slept at the Days Inn, it was perfect!
Over all I really liked this trip! Thank you take tours!
Overall the trip was great. Lots to see and do. The people were very nice. Unfortunately, our only meal options were fast food and we were given no time for meals. We stayed at a beautiful hotel, but we got there late at night and had no time to enjoy the dining there or the facilities.
My sister and I took the 2 day niagara, corning + finger lakes tour. As we were meeting people at niagara i constantly rang to find out where our accommodation would be so that my relatives could book the same hotel. Communication was a bit haphazard but eventually i was told they couldn't let me know until late the night before. The actual trip was ok. I felt some was made up a long the way as we had a stop at the Hershey Factory with a tour that we didn't really want and all of a sudden there was more people on the bus. The late arrival at niagara (9.00pm) was disappointing as it didn't give you much time at the falls then. If you can - take your passport and check your visa and walk over to the canadian side. It offers the best view of the falls. The bus ride showcased beautiful scenery - I wish the tour guide could have offered some commentary on it. Overall you get what you paid for.
excellent hotel, only downside was the bus ride; unfortunately people were not considerate of others and brought curry and smelly foods on the bus and ate it throughout the 6 hour ride. Wouldn't recommend it for people who are sensitive to smells.
We got upgrade from the 1000 islands tour! In general, everything went smooth and we had awesome time! Just wanna give some tips to those who are going there for the 1st time! I highly recommend you to wear as few clothes as you can when you go to the maid of the mist tour, no sneakers, just regular flip-flops. You will get soaked! The IMAX movie wasn't as what we expected. It was probably a very old movie but that was good we saw it because they told us about the legend and mystery of Niagara Falls. Go for this trip on a weekend. You will be able to see fireworks at night while enjoying night view of the waterfalls! It was spectacular! The Corning Glass Museum is such an interesting place! You don't wanna miss it this. They provide a great hot glass show. Our tour guides spoke really poor English, that's was the only problem with the tour. Overall we had really a really fun 2 days!
It was a beautiful trip. I didn't like the fact that our tour guide,in the end of the trip, wanted to drop me and my kids and my mom off across the street from our meeting point, and expected us to cross the high way road with our bags....
