Itinerary
8 days of exotic lands and those much hyped perfect Thai beaches sit ahead of us. The high-on-life vibes will be inevitable as we join forces in Phuket. We'll start getting acquainted after our 6pm kickstart and allow ourselves to start slipping into island time. The bright lights and wild antics of Bangla Road can take things up a notch this evening!

Well good morning explorers, it's your first full day so time to get movin' and shakin'. Choose to spend some of the day with rescued elephants at the Phuket Elephant Sanctuary or if you'd rather, take to Phuket Town and admire the Chinese influenced local architecture - swing high or lay low, the choice is entirely yours. Then, with a free evening ahead, why not treat yourself to a relaxing massage, dive into the buzzing street food markets, or stock up on any last-minute essentials before we set our sights on Phi Phi tomorrow.

It’s an early start today, so grab a quick breakfast before we set off for the Andaman Sea in search of one very famous beach. Next on the agenda: turquoise waters, island scenery and the journey to one of Thailand’s most iconic destinations. Arriving in Koh Phi Phi feels like stepping into a postcard. Surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and bright blue waters, this island paradise is home for the next few days. Spend your time exploring the coastline, sampling local favourites like khao yam, or simply soaking up the atmosphere. Then, as evening rolls in, we'll head out for a sunset hike to Koh Phi Phi’s highest vantage point. With sweeping island views and golden-hour colours, it’s a moment you won’t forget.

Back on the Thai mainland we'll take in the island vistas from the charming setting of Krabi. Today you can opt for a speed boat cruise of Phang Nga Bay to see the famous James Bond Island. Local markets, cheap massages & sunset cocktails can reward us from our adventurous day out.

- DAY 1: Trip starts in Phuket at 18:00. Guests to arrive into Phuket International Airport (HKT). The kick-start meeting starts at 18:00. Recommended flight arrival time by 15:00 to avoid missing the kick-start meeting.
- DAY 8: Trip ends in Phuket at 13:00. Guests to depart from Phuket International Airport (HKT). Complimentary transfer to arrive at 13:00 on last day only, please be aware when booking flights. It is not recommended to book flights before 14:30 on the last day of the trip.
- TRANSFERS: Private chargeable arrival transfers are available from Phuket International Airport (HKT). Transfers will operate per flight information details on the first day of the trip. Transfers can be booked on a single or twin basis. Twin transfers require two passengers traveling together on the same reference number and arrival flight.
- THAILAND: USA passport holders traveling to Thailand do not require a visa for tourism stays up to 30 days. However, you must submit an online arrival card three days prior to your arrival.

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Phuket: Free Time Add-Ons are special activities Contiki organizes in addition to the trip. They aren’t mandatory (but we do highly recommend them!) and can be done during your free time. Payment for Free Time Add-Ons can only be made in cash, using the local currency - Thai Baht. You can check out the prices on the trip page of the website. Payment will generally be collected on night one after kickstart. Please note: Contiki FTAs may vary due to seasonal conditions & often require minimum guest participation to operate. FTA prices are preferential & are subject to change without notice.
Phuket: We’ll aim for you to arrive back in Phuket by early afternoon on the final day. Just one catch - Thai traffic is notoriously slow, so this is dependent on traffic conditions. So, we recommend that you book flights only after 14:30 on the final day. Booked a flight before that? You’ll have to organize your own transfer back to Phuket. Let your Trip Manager know on Day 1 so they can help you out.
Phuket: Yep, you can book private taxis through the reception of Sawaddi Patong Resort or use taxi apps. It’ll cost approx. 850 Baht & will take around 1 hour.
Phuket: You can choose to have the van take you to the Start hotel – Sawaddi Patong Resort. Or directly to Phuket airport. Just let your Trip Manager know!
