Day 1: Reykjavik - Golden Circle(241 km)

Today, we will enjoy Iceland's beautiful, natural landscape by traveling along the Golden Circle. Along the way, we will see Thingvellir National Park, Geysir and the waterfall Gullfoss. Guests can choose to upgrade their day with an Icelandic horse ride. You will spend the evening in accommodation in the Golden Circle area..

  • Golden Circle, ICELAND

    Iceland's Golden Circle is the country's most popular tourist route, featuring several of the top geological formations in the country, such as the geysers of Strokkur and Geysir, as well as the Gullfoss waterfall.

    Geysir

    Considered the first geyser discovered by modern Europeans, the eruptions of Geysir can send boiling water up to 70 meters in the air. Only 50 meters away is Strokkur, another famous Icelandic geyser.

    Gullfoss

    This waterfall in southwest Iceland is one of the country's most popular tourist destinations. It is a multi-tiered waterfall, which all empties into a crevice 32 meters deep.

    Horse riding

    You will have the pleasure of meeting the friendly and intelligent Icelandic horse. Appropriate for novices and experienced riders alike, you will take in the gorgeous Icelandic countryside from the saddle.

Day 2: Golden Circle - Selfoss - Vik(223 km)

Today we will head to the south shore of Iceland where we will take in views of the waterfalls Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss. A bit further along, we will see the Solheimajokull glacier tongue towering over the black sands below. We can choose to go glacier hiking. Along the coast, we will see black sand beaches and sea stacks. Around dinner time, we will check into our accommodations in Vik.

  • Selfoss, ICELAND

    Selfoss is the largest town in southern Iceland, the Icelandic Route 1 runs through the town on its way between Hverageroi and Hella.

    Seljalandsfoss

    This waterfall in Iceland is situated between the town of Selfoss and another waterfall, Skogafoss. At a height of 200 feet, it marks where the coastline of Iceland once was thousands of years ago.

  • Solheimajokull Glacier, ICELAND

    Solheimajokull glacier is one of the stunning outlet glaciers originated from Myrdalsjokull ice cap. The glacier tongue extends in the length of eight kilometers with two kilometers in width.

  • Vik, ICELAND

    There are many natural places of interest in the small beachside town of Vík, including puffin and arctic tern breeding grounds, a spectacular set of rock columns known as Reynisdrangar, and Dyrhólaey. There are also hiking trails, bird-watching trips, and horseback riding on the black sands or snowmobile on Mýrdalsjökull.

    Skogafoss

    This waterfall in Iceland lies along the Skoga River where it once drained into the sea. The cliff at the top of the waterfall marks where the old coastline of Iceland was.

Day 3: Vik - Jokulsarlon(154 km)

Today, we will head to the Jokulsarlon glacial lagoon, where we can take an optional boat tour and visit Diamond Beach.
Boat tour have two options; cruise amid these impressive icebergs on an Amphibian boat tour which is ideal for families and larger groups, or you can dodge in-between ice floes on a speedy Zodiac journey which promises smaller group sizes

  • Jokulsarlon, ICELAND

    A large glacial lake in southeast Iceland, on the edge of Vatnajokull National Park. Situated at the head of the Breioamerkurjokull glacier, it developed into a lake after the glacier started receding from the edge of the Atlantic Ocean.

    Diamond Beach

Day 4: Jokulsarlon - East Fjords - Egilsstaðir(158 km)

Today you will be exploring the beautiful and remote Eastfjords. Travelling through mountainous passes with the ocean to your left, your guide will make a number of stops along these meandering passages. As well as being known for its dramatic fjords, this area is characterised by its breathtaking beaches, littered with multi-coloured pebbles and rocks. We will also enjoy the views of picturesque fishing villages and spend the night in Egilsstaðir.

  • Egilsstaðir, ICELAND

    As well as being the largest town in the Eastfjords, it is also close to the largest forest in Iceland, Hallormsstaðaskógar and the lake Lagafljót in which a legendary water monster is said to reside.

Day 5: Egilsstaoir - Myvatn(372 km)

Today, we will head to Myvatn. On the way, we will drive through the Jokulsargljugur section on Vatnajokull National Park, visiting the incredible Asbyrgi canyon and Dettifoss. In the nearby village of Husavik, we can take a whale watching cruise. Later on, we will take a dip in the soothing waters of the Myvatn Natural Baths. Afterwards, we will spend the night in Myvatn.

  • Vatnajokull National Park, ICELAND

    It is the largest national park in Europe, covering a total area of 12,850 km2 or almost 13% of Iceland， also has been nominated for inclusion on the Unesco World Heritage list.

    Asbyrgi canyon

    Asbyrgi canyon which is shaped like a horseshoe and in Norse mythology. It is said to have been created by the foot of Sleipnir, Odin’s very own horse.

    Dettifoss

    Dettifoss waterfall, the most powerful in Europe. The spray of this gigantic natural feature can be seen far before you reach the falls itself. Its awe-inspiring character has inspired many movie makers to select this area as a backdrop, including the blockbuster, Prometheus

Day 6: Myvatn - Akureyri(91 km)

Today, you will complete your exploration of the Lake Myvatn area with a visit to Dimmuborgir. Leaving the Myvatn region, you will head to the "Capital in the North", Akureyri, but not without a stop at another spectacular waterfall Gooafoss. You will have the rest of the day to discover the many charms of the vibrant city of Akureyri. Wander through its delightful streets and visit its small boutique shops, cafes and a surprising plethora of museums. Go for a dip in the local swimming pool and unwind with the locals in a jacuzzi hot tub, before retiring to accommodation in town.

    Dimmuborgir

    This large area is loaded with fascinating volcanic formations. The name Dimmuborgir means "dark fortresses," a reference to the ominous citadel-like shape of these structures. The area is one of Iceland's most popular natural attractions.

Day 7: Akureyri - Reykjavik(248 km)

Waking up in Akureyri, you now have the option for a whale-watching tour. In the afternoon, you will be taken to the Akureyri domestic airport to board your flight back to Reykjavik. Although you will be back in Reykjavik in the evening it is highly recommended that you plan your journey back home the next day as bad weather or delays could affect your journey.

    You can cancel your multi day tour up to 7 days before departure and receive an 85% refund. The 15% service fee is to cover our cost of planning and arrangement. You can not cancel any individual services within a package within 7 days before departure.The refund amount will be credited directly to your account. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 10% handling fee.
    If we cancel your tour due to weather conditions or any other circumstances you will always receive a full refund. If a volcanic eruption stops you from getting to Iceland you will also receive a full refund on tours.

  • Thing to bring: warm clothing, waterproof clothing, good hiking boots, swimsuit.
  • The Icelandic weather can be very unpredictable. Please bring appropriate clothing.
  • Please be aware that your itinerary may be rearranged to better fit with your arrival date and time.
  • It can happen, in the case of extreme weather, that an activity is cancelled. If your chosen activity is cancelled, we will assist you with rearranging or booking other activities when possible, and any potential price difference will be refunded to you.
