Additional Notes

  • ARRIVAL: Guests to arrive in San Francisco at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). Welcome Desk is scheduled from 15:00-17:00. It¿s recommended that flights arrive prior to 15:00 to avoid missing the Welcome Dinner, starting at 18:00. Private chargeable transfers are available at an additional charge. Guests who purchase private sedan transfers through Trafalgar will be responsible to make a reservation directly with RMA 30 days to 7 days prior to departure. Additional information will be included with documents. Alternatively, guests can make their own transfer arrangements.
  • DEPARTURE: On the last day of the trip, guests will arrive at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) at approx 13:00. Please allow ample time between this approx arrival time and flight departure time to allow for check-in/clearance of immigration etc (as per domestic/international guidelines for guests onwards flight).
  • ELEVATION: The highest elevation point for this guided vacation is 10000 ft / 3050 m.
  • NATIONAL PARKS: National Park accommodations will be rustic and not always similar to other locations. We recommend bringing a flashlight for use in the National Parks. Lighting is often limited on the walking paths at night.
  • SEASONAL ROAD CLOSURES: Weather conditions may cause Tioga Pass to be closed to traffic, typically from mid-October to the end of May. In this case, an alternate entry point to Yosemite will be used entering through the west side of the park. While this may not cause a change in overnight, sightseeing will be affected this day.
  • GROUND HANDLER: This trip is operarted by Destination America.
  • NATIONAL PARK FEE FOR NON-U.S. RESIDENTS: For any new bookings with travel from 01-Jan-2027, due to new regulations being implemented by National Parks authorities, non-U.S. resident visitors will now be required to pay a separate entry fee to access national parks. This fee applies to visitors who do not meet U.S. residency requirements and must be paid separately from any existing permits or inclusions. This additional mandatory fee will be added at the time of booking and paid at final Payment (90 days prior to departure) and is subject to change.
