Day 1: Seattle - Woodburn - Portland (199 miles)

Today we will departure for Woodburn Premium Outlets in the morning, and enjoy all the tax-free shopping, paradise for purchasing indeed.

    Surrounded by farmland, Woodburn, Oregon flourishes in the heart of the Willamette Valley just 35 miles south of Portland. The railroad and vision of Jesse H. Settlemier gave birth to the city of Woodburn in 1889. Woodburn has a rich cultural base because of the large populations of Anglos, Hispanics, Mennonites, Russians and senior citizens who have come to live, work and play here.

    Woodburn Outlets

    The Woodburn Outlets are the largest outlets in Oregon with more than 100 brands. Oregon is a great state for shopping, because there is no sales tax, so you'll be able to enjoy even more savings!

Day 2: Summer: Crater Lake National Park / Winter: Portland In-depth City Tour (370 miles)

Summer Schedule (April 23 - Sep 30): After breakfast, we will travel to Crater Lake National Park. Upon arrival, we will see the deepest lake in the United States and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Winter schedule (October 1 - Mid of April) : After breakfast, we'll go to Pioneer Courthouse Square, also known as Portland's living room. We will visit Japanese American Historical Plaza, we will see the Steel Bridge, Hawthorne Bridge. And later we will visit RoseQuarter(outside visit) and the Grotto.

Day 3: Portland - Columbia River Gorge - Olympia - Seattle (238 miles)

Today we will visit The Grotto, the International Rose Test Garden and Pittock Mansion. Then go to the Columbia River Gorge. The magnificent view of the river valley scenic area includes Multnomah, a famous 620 feet falls. Our next stop is to see Salmon Fish Migration. Ballard locks fish ladder (21 steps) is the biggest fish ladder among Northwestern America. At the end of the day, we'll visit Olympia, the capital city of the State of Washington, to see the state house. After that, we will return to Seattle, where the tour will end.     This botanical garden dedicated entirely to roses and finding new varieties of the plant is home to more than 10,000 roses of more than 550 different varieties. It is open to the public daily.

    The Pittock Mansion in the West Hills of Portland, Oregon is a beautiful mansion located on a scenic hilltop overlooking the city. Originally built for publisher Henry Pittock, this estate is now open to the public for touring.

    In order to make salmon migration from the sea to freshwater lake to lay eggs,in every migratory season the salmon will skip the section 21 ladder all the way, across the height of the dam,then into the lake.

    The capital of the state of Washington, Olympia is a quaint little city with a lively arts scene. Many rock bands in the 1990s got their start in the area, including Nirvana.

    Washington State House of Representatives (Outside Visit)

    Home to the State Legislature, the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, and Treasurer for the state of Washington, this building is American Neoclassical in design. The State Supreme Court building and the Governor's Mansion are also on this campus.

  • Bus Arrangement: Usually only passengers in the same order will be arranged in the same bus. If you book the tour separately with your friends and you want to sit in the same bus, you need to inform us before departure . Or you may be arranged in different buses.
  • Language: All tours are escorted by professional bi- or multi-lingual tour and/or driver guides (English/Chinese). Depending on the number of passengers booked for a particular departure, tours and/or languages may be combined to operate the tours.
  • This tour does not accept any City Pass or your own tickets for the attraction. Passengers who take this tour need to purchase admission tickets from tour escort on the departure date.
  • Post-tour: At the end of Tour, our tour guide and driver will bring our guests to hotel, and assist in check in process if you book "Red Lion Inn/ Courtyard Federal Way/ Fairland Inn or equivalent" .
    Also 24 Hour Airport drop-off service for the next day, but please note that the check-out time for hotel is 11:00 AM.. You can choose one of the following drop-off location: airport(SEA),Seattle Cruise terminal, Seattle Chinatown, king street station/ union station/Greyhound Bus Station.

  • Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.
  • Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of the reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. The time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through webmail at Contact Us .
  • Cancellation penalties per person (request day and departure day are not counted)
    15-30 days or more prior to departure - 10% of the total purchase amount.
    11-14 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
    8-10 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    Within 7 days prior to departure or no show- 100% of the total purchase amount.
    Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit the entire payment.
    Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every effort to maintain the normal operation.
    The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of the tour.
    Buy 2 Get 3rd Free / Get 4th Free: (1) Cancellation of free-fare passenger must be made at least 7 days before departure. (2) No-show or late cancellation incurs a $166 penalty fee for the reserved bus seat.
  • Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.
  • Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.

  • The tour plan is really good. Whether is so important to see Crater Lake. Pls!!! check the whether. In my case, although I'm so sad to unable to see lake due to the misty and foggy whether, I think it is great and best scheduling tour.
