    Today we will gather in Seattle. After pickup from the airport, we will take an excursion of the city that includes a brief stop at Space Needle. At the end of the day we will transfer to the hotel in Vancouver, BC.

      This city in the top-left corner of the United States is a major seaport as well as a cultural center. Whether you want to enjoy the scenery, grab some great coffee, or learn history, Seattle has something to offer.

      Space Needle

      This icon of the American Northwest has adorned everything for movie screens to postage stamps. Built in 1961 for the 1962 World's Fair, the Space Needle features outdoor elevators and a rotating restaurant at its top.

    Today we will gather in Vancouver. Our guide will meet you at the airport for transfer to the hotel. After, we will take a half-day tour of the city that includes stops at Canada Place, Vancouver Convention Center, Olympic Cauldron and Stanley Park etc, and take a mini ferry ride to Granville Island.

      One of Vancouver's main tourist attractions and beloved by visitors and locals alike, this massive park on the western coast of Canada is not to be missed. Stanley Park was the first park in Vancouver, and remains the largest.

      Canada Place

      The roof of Canada Place, Vancouver's large convention facility, is made of cloth pieces to resemble sails. This complex contains the Vancouver Convention Center, the local cruise ship terminals, the city's World Trade Center, and a hotel.

      The Vancouver Convention Centre in British Columbia, Canada is one of the country's largest convention centers. It has twice been selected as the "World's Best Convention Center." The Center was an important place in the 2010 Winter Olympics.

    Vancouver - Fraser Valley - Kelowna - Okanagan - Vernon (278 miles)

    Start our journey via the trans-Canada highway, pass through Fraser Valley and head east for Kelowna where is the heart of the Okanagan Valley. At Lake Okanagan, listen to its legendary story and search for the lake monster "Ogopogo." Afterwards visit the renowned winery to learn about the basics of wine making. Stop by a honey farm and then settle down at Vernon.

    Vernon - Salmon Arm - Golden - Yoho National Park - Banff National Park - Banff (214 miles)

    Proceed to the Eagle Pass and visit the "Last Spike". After passing through Golden, enter Yoho National Park and visit the Natural Bridge and the Emerald Lake. Then, experience the Bow Valley and visit none other than the Bow Falls. Arrive in the quintessential alpine village of Banff. Stay overnight in Banff.
    • Salmon Arm, BC

      Salmon Arm first started as a railway camp during the construction of the Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR), later developing into a logging, farming and dairy centre. It is surrounded by outstanding natural beauty, clean waterways, provincial parks and an abundance of green space.

      Eagle Pass/Last Spike

      The outpost of Craigellachie is a tourist stop in the Eagle Pass, which allows the Canadian Pacific Railway to pass through the Monashee Mountains. This was the location in which the "Last Spike" of the railway was placed.

      These are the western slopes of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Towering rockwalls, spectacular waterfalls and soaring peaks earn the park its name.

      Emerald Lake

    Banff Nantional Park - Jasper National Park - Columbia Icefield Hotel (128 miles)

    We will ride the Gondola to the summit of the Sulphur Mountain, then head to Moraine Lake (subject to road condition). Next, we will visit the Lake Louise and enjoy meal at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise (meal plan). After passing by Bow Lake, we will visit Peyto Lake, ride across Athabasca Glacier on "Ice Explorer". We will stay at the unique hotel at the Columbia Icefield that features spectacular views of the Athabasca Glacier during the day and unmatched stargazing at night.

      Sulfur Mountain Gondola Ride

      This unique cable-car ride takes visitors to Alberta, Canada's Banff National Park to the top of Sulphur Mountain, a UNESCO World Hertitage Site. Atop the mountain there are many viewing areas, a long boardwalk, and two small museums.

      Lake Louise is a glacial lake in Alberta, Canada's Banff National Park. The lake is known for its vibrant blue-green coloration, which comes from rock flour carried into the lake by the water of the nearby melting glaciers.

      Peyto Lake

      Peyto Lake in Alberta, Canada's Banff National Park is known for its stunning aqua-blue coloration. It can be best seen from a viewing point just off the Icefield Parkway; this is considered one of the best views in Canada.

      Columbia Icefield

      The Columbia Icefield in the northern part of Banff National Park covers an area of about 200 square miles in the Canadian Rockies. The Icefield feeds eight major glaciers in the area, including Athabasca Glacier and Dome Glacier.

    Day 5

    Jasper National Park - Jasper (5 miles)

    In the morning, we will walk out on the Glacier Skywalk. After visiting Athabasca Falls, we will head to Jasper, where we will be able to take optional river rafting or horseback riding excursions. We will also visit Maligne Canyon. We will spend the night in Jasper.

      Glacier Skywalk

      Visitors to the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre in Jasper National Park are treated to something new for 2014-- the Glacier Skywalk. Modeled after the Grand Canyon Skywalk, this horseshoe-shaped bridge lets guests walk out over the cliffside glacier.

      Athabasca Falls

      A powerful, picturesque waterfall, Athabasca Falls is not known so much for the height of the falls (23 metres), as it is known for its force due to the large quantity of water falling into the gorge.

      Maligne Canyon

      Maligne Canyon is a natural feature located in the Jasper National Park near Jasper, Alberta, Canada. Eroded out of the Palliser Formation, the canyon measures over 50 metres (160 ft) deep. Popular for sightseeing and exploration, the area contains waterfalls, stream outlets, birds and plant life.

    Jasper - Kamloops (274 miles)

    We will have the morning free at our own leisure. Our train departs at 2:30pm. The station is a short drive from our hotel, Take the hotel shuttle (subject to hotel) to the train station, please arrival 1 hour prior to the departure time.. Our train will head to Kamloops in British Columbia. On the journey, we will see Mount Robson, Pyramid Falls, and Yellowhead Pass. We will spend the night on the train.

    VIA Train - Clearwater - Kamloops - Hope - Vancouver (289 miles)

    We will continue on our train ride towards the Pacific coast, admiring the dramatic changes in scenery, including the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the Hills Gate in Fraser Canyon. Around 9:45am, we will arrive in Vancouver.
