I took this tour by myself . I was so delighted that I did ! I was a happy tourist being picked up at the airport by a very nice lady . She happened to be our tourist guide as well and she exemplified professionalism, courtesy and kindness. Our driver was also a very nice man who took us to Paradise. I love every place we visited on this tour . Banff is a picturesque place with Lake Louise close by , the sulfur bath and gondola ride were a plus as well as the ice wine tasting by Lake Okanagan. I would be taking this tour again with a bunch of my friends! They will sure LOVE it!
I took the tour on 19th from vancouver. If you arrive early you get a free city tour which was a bonus for me. My tour guide was leo for the most part. He was very accomodating and friendly. He explained everything in both chinese and english. Took care of all the guests. There were a few who didnt speak chinese at all.Although the itinerary says victoria tour is last day, it is scheduled to be on the second day, better to double check before booking. The hotel we stayed in vancouver was good, had free coffee and also they gave us breakfast coupons. The drive to banff is long and tiring but it was fun because i amde good friends along the way. The hotel in kamloops is okay. The one in kananaski is really good. We will have to pack each day in banff as we stay at different hotels so prepare your luggage accordingly and get used to early morning wakeup calls.The itinerary was good for the time we had.Some places i wish i had more time as there is always a time constraint.Leo was accomodating and included lakes which were suggested along the way as most lakes were frozen when we visited.Overall great experience.
