Today, we will travel north from Boston to historic Marblehead, the birthplace of the American Navy. We will visit Abbot Hall to head a short lecture and view the original painting "The Spirit of 76." Afterwards, we will continue to Salem, where we will take some time to explore the various attractions and museums on our own. With our special discount cards, we will get to pay a special discounted admission rate to Nathaniel Hawthorne's Custom House, the House of the Seven Gables, and the Salem Witch Museum. We can also have a delicious lunch at Pickering Wharf. Afterwards, we will return to Boston.
