The Columbia Icefield spans 200 square miles in the Canadian Rockies and feeds iconic glaciers like Athabasca Glacier. Enjoy a thrilling experience, including a Snow Coach ride onto the glacier and a walk on the glass-floored Skywalk, surrounded by breathtaking mountain views.

Then head to Maligne Canyon (Maligne Canyon is closed and will be replaced with alternative Waterton Lake and Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge). On the way back, we'll relax in peace at the Saskatchewan River Crossing for a short rest. Arrive at Bow Lake for a 20-minute photo stop. Overnight in Banff.

Medicine Lake, also known as “the lake that disappears” is located 20 km southeast of the town of Jasper. Medicine lake is a 7 km long narrow lake that is formed by the Maligne River. Interesting enough, the lake loses water as it flows.

Cruise down the lovely Maligne Lake to small Spirit Island, the landmark at which you will turn around to return to your starting point.
Maligne Lake Cruise operates approximately May 29 to October 11, subject to weather and lake conditions. When the cruise is unavailable, it will be replaced with a visit to Pyramid Lake (45 minutes) and Patricia Lake (15 minutes)
Maligne Canyon
Maligne Canyon is a natural feature located in the Jasper National Park near Jasper, Alberta, Canada. Eroded out of the Palliser Formation, the canyon measures over 50 metres (160 ft) deep. Popular for sightseeing and exploration, the area contains waterfalls, stream outlets, birds and plant life.

Saskatchewan River Crossing
The Saskatchewan River Crossing is an interesting place to stop for a short rest as you are driving near the junction of Banff National Park and the Icefields Parkway. This place was actually named âThe Crossingâ because back in the 19th century, travelers and fur traders would use this spot to cross the North Saskatchewan River on their way to the beautiful province of British Columbia.

Bow Lake
Bow Lake is a bright turquoise color which is due to the glacial runoff from Bow Glacier. Historical Simpson's Num-Ti-Jah is located on the shores of Bow Lake at the foot of Mount Jimmy Simpson.
We will pass by Castle Mountain on the way to Lake Louise, overlooked by a stately chateau and backed by Victoria Glacier and elevated by Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, followed closely by Moraine Lake (Open Seasonally.). Set in the rugged Valley of the Ten Peaks.
After lunch, we will enter the Yoho National Park, passing by Spiral Tunnel and arriving to Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge.

If you are unable to take the designated shuttle, the travel agency will coordinate the next available shuttle for you according to the hotel shuttle availability.
- Private car airport pick-up service is available on a Pre-paid basis: for flights arriving between 7:00-23:00. The first two passengers will be charged $100 CAD plus tax, and each additional passenger will be charged $20 CAD plus tax. Please be aware that there is a maximum of four people per order.

Excellent tour, hotels wonderful, we booked the breakfast option and set us up fir the day. Bus comfortable. Our guided Simon (2 days), Jamie 1 day were excellent. The iternary allowed time to relax and explore. We were dropped back to the airport. Commutation was seamless. Excellent experience.

A Great Tour it was. Everything went perfect.I did the tour with my family on August 1st 2022. We all loved the itenary, Scenery,, the hotel arrangements the food and breakfast... the Tour Guide Lisa from WeStar Travel and the bus driver Daniel. There was good coordination and communication from Take Tours to us and the service provider WeStar Travel and we were well taken care off. I like the Bannf wild life tour and the guide Lui who showed us around ...took great pics with the family.. The Glacier walk ( dress up warmly) was great and the Lakes breath taking sights and colors. It is a tour of a lifetime for all Canadians..We all plan to go again and spend more time in Banff. This trip was worth every penny.
