Itinerary

Overview

In the morning, guests will be picked up from the specified departure location in Dublin to begin this tour. Today, we will travel to Newgrange to tour inside one of the oldest and largest Neolithic burial chambers in Europe. Afterwards, we will stop by the small fishing village of Howth where we will climb to the top of Howth Summit overlooking Dublin Bay. When we return to Dublin, the tour will end. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.

Dublin, IRELAND

Ireland's most famous (and capital) city was originally a viking settlement. It is home to many landmarks and monument from across its colorful history, such as Dublin Castle, Trinity College, the Molly Malone statue, Mountjoy Square, and much more!

Newgrange

This prehistoric monument can be found in County Meath, Ireland, a short drive from Dublin. The prehistoric monument was constructed around 3200 BCE, making it older than both Stonehenge and the Egyptian pyramids.

Howth

A small fishing village, Howth is a blend of residential and suburban neighborhoods and wild hillside 8 miles northeast of Dublin. Tourists can visit Howth Castle and lighthouses, and enjoy bird watching, sailing, and shopping along the coast of Dublin Bay.
