Fez - Azrou - Merzouga (353 km)
After picked up from hotel in the morning, we will head to Merzouga where the Erg Chebbi Dunes is. We will firstly make a stop in Ifrane, a Berber village known as "Morocco's Switzerland" because of the style of the buildings. Then we will head to the Cedar Forest where we can see monkeys in their natural habitat. After that, we will continue our way to the Sahara Desert via Midelt and Ziz Valley. Then we will arrive the desert. After a relaxing we will then enjoy a camel ride for 1.5 hours. We can also enjoy the sunset and spend the night in the desert camp.
Azrou where the wild monkeys are located. It will be good opportunity to take photos of wilderness in Morocco. Azrou is a Moroccan town located 89 km south of Fez in the Yvesland province of Fez-Meknes.
A small village in southeastern Morocco, known for its proximity to Erg Chebbi, a Saharan erg, and it is for this reason a part of the itineraries of many tourists visiting Morocco.
Reach the Camp
When you arrive Sahara desert Merzouga, after relaxing few minutes. You’ll ride the camels to spend the night in the desert. We live in Berber nomad tents.
