Itinerary

Day 1

Guests will be picked up from their hotels in Las Vegas to begin this tour. Today, we will fly in an airplane to get incredible views of the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, the Colorado River, and the West Rim of the Grand Canyon from the sky. Then, we will land to take a guided tour of the dam to learn about the processes that go on inside. Afterwards, we will return to Las Vegas and the tour will come to an end. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations.

Las Vegas, NV

Las Vegas is known as the "Entertainment Capital of the World" for a good reason-- casinos and hotels line its streets, and visitors can gamble, see shows, and shop at virtually any hour of the day or night.

Hoover Dam

The beautiful Hoover Dam is located 30 miles southeast of Las Vegas in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River. The massive concrete dam was a monumental undertaking built during the Great Depression and dedicated by Franklin Roosevelt himself.

Lake Mead

Lake Mead is the reservoir formed by the Hoover Dam. When at full capacity, it is the largest reservoir in the United States. It is a popular recreation spot for fishermen, boaters, hikers, sightseers, and much more.
Grand Canyon, AZ

Considered one of the seven natural wonders of the world, the Grand Canyon was carved over 17 million years by the Colorado River. This breathtaking, 18-mile-long canyon has been stunning visitors for hundreds of years.

Grand Canyon West Rim

Located just 2 hours from nearby Las Vegas, Nevada, Grand Canyon West boasts the newest visitor attraction, the Grand Canyon Skywalk. Its plexiglass floor extends 70 feet over the edge of the Canyon's rim, allowing visitors to look straight down to the canyon floor 4,000 feet below.

Colorado River

The major river of the Amaerican Southwest, the Colorado River winds 1,450 miles (2,330 km) through mountains, deserts, and other diverse landscapes of parts of seven U.S. and two Mexican states.
