It's a long drive from Maceio to Maragogi, about 257 kilometers each way. But the natural pools and coral reefs were so clear that I felt the ride was worth it. Lunch wasn't included, so I just ate at one of the beach restaurants.

Itinerary
In the morning, guests will be picked up from their hotels in Maceio. Today we will journey to Maragogi, at the northernmost point of the Alagoas Gold Coast, a location blessed with the exuberant beauty of its pristine beaches and living gales (a reef complex named after old shipwrecks). We will get the opportunity to explore this amazing eco-system formed by natural pools among coral-lined reefs. The crystal-clear waters of this beach make it an ideal place for snorkeling and scuba diving. We have the option of taking a Catamaran Trip 6km offshore to the gales for an additional cost. This trip is dependent on the tide. The beach has complete facilities including full restaurant and bar services. After a delightful day, we will return to Maceio, where guests will be dropped off to end this tour. Maragogi, Brazil
This tropical city on the Brazilian Coast is known for its beautiful beach of the same name. Just offshore, scuba divers will delight in a living coral reef. The area is filled with tropical vegetation.
Catamaran Ride
From beautiful Maragogi Beach, we will sail on a catamaran to the gales, the tropical pools that form during low tide, roughly 6km offshore, making for a relaxing trip to see a unique local feature.
