Itinerary
To begin this tour, guests will be picked up in Maceio. Please see "Departure and Return" for more detailed information regarding pickup and drop-off times and locations. On this tour, we will visit one of the liveliest, most beautiful beaches on the southern Alagoas coast, Frances Beach. These brilliant turquoise waters cast a magical spell attracting tourists from far and wide. Offshore reefs calm the waves, inviting visitors into the warm sea. Our trip includes a visit to Barra de Sao Miguel, where restaurants offer an extensive menu of delicious regional dishes. An optional boat trip including snorkeling and scuba diving is available for an additional cost. After a fun day at the beach, we will return to Maceio, where guests will be dropped off to end this tour.
Maceio, Brazil
This port city in Brazil is named for its many lakes and estuaries. The highlight of Maceio for travelers is its coastline. Miles of white sand beaches and crystal clear blue or emerald water attract visitors from all over.
Frances Beach
This beach near Maceio is known for its warm waters and coral reefs. Its popularity and great features make it an excellent place for beach activities, like snorkeling, surfing, or merely relaxing in the warm Brazilian sun.
Barra de Sao Miguel, Brazil
If you follow the Brazilian coastline south from Maceio, you will reach this small city amidst tropical vegetation. The city becomes lively on June 24th for the St. John's Day Festival. Gunga Beach is located here.
