Itinerary
In the morning, guests will be picked up from their hotels in Maceio. Driving north, we will head to Praia de Paripueira, a beach just outside of the city, famous for its calm, shallow waters. This magnificent location is within the Coral Coast Environmental Preservation Area. It is home to the Municipal Marine Park for the Preservation of the Manatee, which also contains the world's second largest coral reservation. The main attractions include tide pools formed between coral-lined reefs containing a wealth of flourishing sea life including vibrant tropical fish species that play among swimmers. This is an ideal place for snorkeling. Also, for an additional fee, we will have the option of taking a short boat trip out to the reef pools of Praia de Sonho Verde, depending on the tide. There are restaurant services with a regional menu and complete tourist facilities. At the end of the day, we will return to Maceio, where guests will be dropped off to end the tour.
Maceio, Brazil
This port city in Brazil is named for its many lakes and estuaries. The highlight of Maceio for travelers is its coastline. Miles of white sand beaches and crystal clear blue or emerald water attract visitors from all over.
Paripueira
This small beach and town north of Maceio is home to the Municipal Marine Center for the Preservation of the Manatee. The beach is known for its gentle waters, making this a great place to relax for a day.
