    • Prague, CZECH REPUBLIC

Prague has been an important city for 1,100 years. It is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic, features more than ten museums, and its historic city center is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

      National Theater

This national monument to Czech art, culture, and music was opened in 1881. Since then, it has held performances by some of the country's most influential and significant musicians and orchestras.

      Prague Castle

This massive palatial complex in Prague serves as the official residence of the President of the Czech Republic. It is the largest ancient castle in the world with a total area of 70,000 square-meters.

      Wenceslas Square

Wenceslas Square is one of the largest open public spaces in Prague, a cultural and business center for one of Europe's most beautiful cities. The notable landmarks are the statue of St. Wenceslas and the exquisite National Museum of Prague.

      Dancing House

Designed by world famous architect Frank Gehry, this fascinating building in Prague is named because of its interesting shape, which is meant to resemble a pair of dancers. It was built in a deconstructivist style.

      Charles Bridge

The Charles Bridge links Prague's Old Town district with the Prague Castle areas, and was once the only way to cross the Vltava River in the city center. During the day, the bridge is lined with street artists and performers.

      Lesser Town

This historic district of Prague, known locally as the Mala Strana, was in the past the center of the city's ethnic German population. It was home to a large number of noble palaces.

      Vltava River Cruise

Take a relaxing cruise through the majestic city of Prague as you drift along the Vlatava River. Take a seat on the outdoor deck and observe the vibrant city with a cool, refreshing drink.

Included refreshment: one drink beer, lemonade, water, tea, coffee, ice cream or gingerbread in summer; one drink beer, lemonade, water, tea, coffee or mulled wine, gingerbread in winter.

      Duration: Approx. 45 Minutes

      Old Town Hall

This building, with its tall, Gothic tower, was once the city hall of Prague. At the top of the tower is the famous astronomical clock, the oldest still-working clock of its kind worldwide.

Not available during Nov 1 to Mar 31

      Old Town Square

This public square in the heart of Prague's historic Old Town displays some excellent examples of Gothic and baroque architecture; for example, the square's two major churches, Tyn Church and St. Nihcolas Church, each showcase one of these styles.

      Old-New Synagogue

This Gothic synagogue in Prague's Jewish District opened in 1270, and is therefore the oldest active one in Europe. It is rumored that the Golem, a Jewish folkloric monster, rests in the attic.

      Clementinum

This historic building complex in Prague was built to be used as a library for the students of Charles University. It is currently used as the National Library of the Czech Republic.
