    After guests have been picked up from the specified departure location, we will embark on this tour. This tour is designed for guests who have a very limited time in the city, but would still like to experience it to the fullest. Along the way, we will stop at the Mirabell Gardens, the Mozarteum, the Marionette Theater, Landestheatre, and Markart Square. Then, crossing the Salzach River, we will come to Mozart's Residence in the Getreidegasse, Blasius Church, the Horse Bath, and the Festival Halls. Then, via Siegmund's Gate, we will reach the Riedenburg district, passing by Hohensalzburg Fortress and the Nonnberg Abbey. The tour will come to a close in Mozart's Square.       Mirabell Palace

      This historical building in Salzburg is listed as a cultural heritage monument by UNESCO. The palace features beautiful royal gardens. Several scenes from the beloved movie "The Sound of Music" were filmed here.

      Mozarteum University of Salzburg

      This university in Salzburg specializes in music and the dramatic arts. One of the most respected universities in Europe for its musical curriculum, it was named after Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, a famous composer and Salzburg resident.

      Salzburger Landestheater

      This theater in Salzburg that is publicly funded by the residents of the Austrian state, making it the "official" theater of the city, though there are several larger and more innovative stages in town.

      Salzach River

      This is the main river that cuts through the heart of the Austrian state of Salzburg. Running a total of 140 miles (225 km) in length, its name is derived from the German word for salt.

      Mozart Residence

      This building was the birthplace and childhood home of treasured Austrian composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The house was destroyed during World War II, but reopened to the public in 1996.

      Mozart Square

      This public square in Salzburg is named for the city's most famous resident, the genius composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. It is a large, open area that features a statue of the man himself in its center.
