We recommend children be 12yrs+ to rent 7-speed bicycles, and 16yrs+ to rent electric bicycles.

Day 1

You will then begin your journey over the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, with plenty of opportunities for photos. Here are some places to see along your route: Fisherman's Wharf, Marina District, Fort Point, Aquatic Park, Palace of Fine Arts. If time permits, you will also see Marin Headlands. After making your way across the bridge, enjoy a leisurely downhill ride to the charming town of Sausalito, where you will drop-off your bike and have the opportunity to enjoy lunch on the beautiful waterfront. The guided shuttle will depart Sausalito for Muir Woods Redwood National Monument in the afternoon, at approximately 2pm. Upon arrival, we will suggest plenty of trails for you to follow as you spend over an hour with some of the oldest and tallest living things in the world. After exploring the beautiful redwoods, the shuttle will depart Muir Woods and will drop you right back in Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco to complete your day.

Fisherman's Wharf

This San Francisco neighborhood is a popular tourist area due to its lovely scenery and abundance of shops, restaurants, museums, and other attractions. The area also hosts several annual events, such as a July 4th fireworks show.

Palace of Fine Art

The grandiosely-named Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, California is a huge, ornate outdoor structure that is part of the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. Its amazing architecture has made it popular for weddings and photography.

Golden Gate Bridge

The iconic arches of San Francisco, California's Golden Gate Bridge are known the world over as a symbol of California and the San Francisco Bay area. From movies to postcards, the Golden Gate Bridge is an American icon.

Muir Woods National Monument

Muir Woods National Monument, across the bay from San Francisco, is a sanctuary for coastal redwoods. Visitors will be awed by these trees that extend themselves high above. This makes an excellent spot for camping and hiking.

If you would like to join the optional activities, please pay the fee in cash to the tour guide. You cannot buy / use the tickets on your own or use City Passes. The tour guide will arrange the tickets for the group.

Additional Note

We do not offer child seats on our electric bike tours.
Tour is conducted on full-size electric bicycles. For legal reasons, you must be 16 or older to ride an electric bike.
We strongly encourage you to dress in layers as weather can vary from neighborhood to neighborhood.
We also recommend wearing closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothing during the tour.
Our guides are always ready to ride, but if the forecast is showing a strong likelihood of rain on the day of your scheduled ride, it will be up to us to cancel the tour and keep you safe.
For your safety, the groupæ¯ safety, and the safety of our equipment, all participants MUST be able to confidently ride a bike. If a guest is not riding confidently enough to travel safely on San Francisco streets, we will prohibit that guest from riding.
Please note this tour has 2 hills and may be difficult for beginner bicycle riders.

Confirmation

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, is included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Terms & Condition

Customers would receive a full refund if canceled 2 days or above prior to departure date; No refund if canceled within 2 days. The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
While we will make every effort to maintain a regular operation, we reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip and issue a full refund to affected customers under special circumstances.
