Pricing Policy

Rider must be 12 years or older and weigh 100lbs - 250lbs (45 - 113KG). Those who are under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on the tour. This tour is not recommended for guests ageed 70 years and older.
No pregnant guests are allowed due to safety reasons.

Itinerary

Overview

Explore San Francisco during the evening on this unique and fun-filled tour, including the Fisherman's Wharf, North Beach, Chinatown and the Waterfront. After a 25-30 minute training session on how to safely operate the Segway, we will glide through lively neighborhoods for a total of two hours. Each guest is issued a compact radio receiver so they don't miss a detail of what the guide is saying about each site seen on the tour. Numerous stops are made for photos. Explore these neighborhoods:

North Beach Little Italy: This famous culinary destination prides itself on authentic Italian fare and bustles with activity both day and night. Stop in Washington Square Park and learn about the authentic Beat Generation in North Beach.

Chinatown: A veritable city within a city. Cruise through historic Chinatown and past hidden alleys in the largest Chinese community outside of Asia. As the tour moves farther east, enjoy romantic views of the Transamerica Pyramid and the Ferry Building.

Fisherman's Wharf & Waterfront: See hidden gems like Fish Alley, Fisherman's Chapel, a WWII Liberty Ship and the Pampanito submarine. Pause to take in breathtaking nighttime views of the Alcatraz Lighthouse and the twinkling lights of the Bay Bridge.

Before returning to Fisherman's Wharf, the tour will loop back from the edge of the Financial District and along the breath talking Waterfront. Cruise past historic piers along the Embarcadero while the San Francisco Bay glitters against the night.

San Francisco, CA

San Francisco, the heart of central California's Bay Area, is famous for its iconic Golden Gate Bridge, its unique culture, and its position at the forefront of technological innovation. Beautiful weather and waterfront views await visitors as well!

Fisherman's Wharf

This San Francisco neighborhood is a popular tourist area due to its lovely scenery and abundance of shops, restaurants, museums, and other attractions. The area also hosts several annual events, such as a July 4th fireworks show.

San Francisco Chinatown

San Francisco's incredibly famous Chinatown neighborhood in the oldest Chinatown in North America and the largest Chinese community outside of Asia. Established in 1848, this once-small enclave has grown to over 100,000 residents and draws tons of tourists annually.

The Tour office is across the street from the Hyde and Powell Streets Cable Car turnaround, in Fisherman's Wharf. A Wells Fargo Bank ATM (Red Sign) is at the entrance to the driveway of the training area. Look for yellow and blue flags.
Guests MUST arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time. No refund will be issued if you are late and you will lose your reservation.
Parking information: Parking is not provided at the departure location. The Segway Tours last over 2 hours and we do not reimburse parking costs.

Additional Note

Segways may be operated by guests ages 12 and older. Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Tours are limited to nine riders and reservations are required.
Riders must be over 100 pounds and less than 250 pounds (46-113 kg)
Riders must be able to easily and quickly step on and off the Segway, which requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without any assistance or use of a handrail.
Guests must wear helmet and safety vest provided with the tour.
Respect road signs, pedestrians, bikes and cars for a safe, enjoyable ride.
Sign a liability waiver.
Recommended: Dress comfortable and in layers. Comfortable closed toe flat shoes. No high heels, flip flops or sandals. Bring an extra layer of warm, wind resistant clothing. Gloves are recommended during the winter months.

Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print and bring e-ticket(s) on your trip, as they serve as proof of purchase.

Prices may vary and are subject to availability by season, weekend, and/or holiday.
We reserve the right to change the size or routing of the tour to meet demands for that specific day. If seasonal fog or rainy weather obscures the view, tour routes may be altered without any refund.
While we will make every effort to maintain a regular operation, we reserve the right to cancel a scheduled trip and issue a full refund to affected customers under special circumstances.
