Pre-tour: If you arrive before the tour's starting date, airport transfer will be arranged within the complimentary transfer time (8:30am - 9:30pm (international flight) or 8:30am - 10:30pm (domestic flight)).

Post-tour: If you extend the hotel after the tour ends, the tour will transfer you to the hotel on the last day of the tour. Passengers need to self arrange to airport the next day. We highly recommand you book the hotel near LAX which provide free airport shuttle.

    Pricing Policy

    • Buy 2 get 1 free (3 or 4pax sharing one room): (1) Cancellation of free passenger, 4-7 days prior to departure - $50 per person. (2) 1-3 days prior to departure - $100 per person. (3) No-show of free passenger incurs a $150 penalty fee for the reserved bus seat
    • Child Rate: Child rates apply to those 2-9 years and using existing bedding with 2 full-paying passengers (regardless of ages). Please note each hotel room can only accommodate 4 guests (adults or children).
    Day 1

    Los Angeles - Las Vegas - St George (402 miles)

    This morning we will depart from Los Angeles, CA and head to Las Vegas, NV, where we will stop for lunch and pick up passengers who decide to depart from Las Vegas. Those joining the tour in Las Vegas should arrive before 2:00pm and meet the tour guide near the elevator on the first floor of Circus Circus Sky Rise Tower at 3:00pm. From here we will travel east, spending the night in the town of St. George, UT.

    Day 2

    Lake Powell - Bryce Canyon - Salt Lake City (435 miles)

    This morning, we will travel to see the Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell. From there we will drive along the Red Canyon to Bryce Canyon National Park. Then, we will head to Salt Lake City, UT, where we will spend the night.

    Lake Powell

    • Lake Powell is a reservoir on the Colorado River created by the Glen Canyon Dam. This lake is the second-largest man-made reservoir in the United States, and it is an extremely popular vacation spot.

    Page, AZ

    • This concrete arch dam in northern Arizona barricades the Colorado River and creates Lake Powell, the second-largest man-made lake in the country. Lake Powell is a haven for water-skiers and boaters, and is also popular with fishermen.

    Bryce Canyon

    Bryce Canyon National Park is named for just one of many canyons which form a series of horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters on the edge of the Paunsaugunt Plateau in southern Utah.

    Jackson Hole - Grand Teton - Yellowstone (388 miles)

    We will set off on our road trip to Yellowstone National Park. By noon we will reach the town of Jackson Hole, WY. After our visit, we will drive along the Snake River until we reach Grand Teton National Park. From there we will travel on, arriving at Yellowstone National Park, where we will spend the night.

    Grand Teton National Park is is located in the Rocky Mountains, Northwest Wyoming. Grand Teton National Park is noted for its stunning mountain vistas, its shimmering alpine lakes and its abundant wildlife.

    Day 4

    Yellowstone National Park (257 miles)

    Today we will spend a full day in Yellowstone National Park. We will return to Salt Lake City, UT to spend the night.

    Yellowstone

    Yellowstone is part of the most seismically active region of the Rocky Mountains and lies on a volcanic 'hot spot'. It is well known for its hot springs and mud pots. It contains 200-250 active geysers and some 10,000 thermal features.
    • Old Faithful is a cone geyser in the Upper Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park. It is one of the park's most well-known natural features, and is famous for its predictability. It generally erupts every 91 minutes.
    • The West Thumb Geyser Basin is the largest geyser basin at Yellowstone Lake, and an impressive area of geothermal activity that contains hot springs, mud pots, and geysers-- some of which are even in the lake itself.
    • Named after the famous sketches of the waterfalls by Thomas Moran (but not actually the location where the sketched were done) this beautiful location showcases one of the most famous views in Yellowstone National Park.
    • This large complex of hot springs is impressive both for its unique beauty as well as its scale. Formed hundreds of thousands of years ago by volcanic and seismic activity, these springs are one of Yellowstone's most popular spots.

    Salt Lake City - Las Vegas (423 miles)

    In the morning we will explore Salt Lake City, UT. After visiting the Utah State Capitol, the Salt Lake Temple and Great Salt Lake Marina, we will travel to Las Vegas, NV where we will spend the night.

    Salt Lake City, UT

    Salt Lake is home to several museums. Salt Lake City provides many venues for both professional and amateur theatre. The city attracts many traveling Broadway and Off-Broadway performances . The city has a local music scene dominated by blues, rock and roll, punk...
    • This 250,000-square-foot temple is the largest of the temples belonging to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, known colloquially as the Mormons. The public cannot tour the interior, but the facade is a sight to behold.
    • The home of all of the governmental processes for the state of Utah, the Utah State Capitol in Salt Lake City. The building is done in the ornate neoclassical revival style, purposefully reminiscent of the nation capitol in DC.
    • The largest saltwater lake in the Western Hemisphere is the famous Great Salt Lake in northern Utah. People visit the lake's namesake, Salt Lake City, every year to see the natural wonder and tour its shores.

    Day 6

    Las Vegas - Hoover Dam - Grand Canyon West Rim (Mandatory $80/person) - Las Vegas (307 miles)

    We will begin the day by travelling to see the Hoover Dam. From there we will travel on, arriving at the West Rim** of the Grand Canyon. You may take an optional visit to the Skywalk Glass Bridge. You will also have the opportunity to take a combined Colorado River Cruise and helicopter tour* of the Grand Canyon. Then, we will leave the Grand Canyon and return to Las Vegas.

    Las Vegas, NV

    • The beautiful Hoover Dam is located 30 miles southeast of Las Vegas in the Black Canyon of the Colorado River. The massive concrete dam was a monumental undertaking built during the Great Depression and dedicated by Franklin Roosevelt himself.

    Grand Canyon

    • The Grand Canyon West area, not far east of Las Vegas, NV, is located on the Hualapai Native American reservation. Activities include the famous Skywalk Bridge, as well as tours of the surrounding canyon area.
    • The Skywalk Glass Bridge is a one-of-a-kind experience that put you 4,000 feet in the air over the grand canyon. The transparent, horseshoe-shaped bridge can withstand winds in excess of 100MPH and can hold the weight of seventy-one 747s.

    Las Vegas - Tanger Outlets - Los Angeles (266 miles)

    Before we leave Las Vegas, we will travel to the Ethel M Chocolate Factory and its Botanical Cactus Gardens. On our way back to Los Angeles, we'll stop at the Tanger Outlets in Barstow, CA. After, we will continue on our way to Los Angeles, where we will transfer you to the Los Angeles International Airport.

    Las Vegas, NV

    • A unique combination of food and flora, the Ethel M Chocolate Factory and Botanical Cactus Gardens outside of Las Vegas, NV has something for everyone. Both the gardens and the factory are open to the public free of charge.

    Barstow, CA

    • The Tanger Factory Outlet Center in Barstow, California offers designer wares at bargain prices. Stores at the outdoor complex include Guess, Nike, Nine West, Banana Republic, Polo Ralph Lauren, Timberland, Coach, and many more, with even more to come.
    Please schedule flights departing Los Angles for after 9:30pm (for domestic flights) or 10:30pm (for international flights). If flying directly from Las Vegas to a hometown on the last day of the tour, please book a flight departing Las Vegas after 2:00pm. In this case, airport transportation will not be provided.

  • All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.
  •   Redemption

    You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order was received. Complete Operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your Confirmation Email (e-ticket). When you reserve your attractions and services you will be asked to print e-tickets to present when you arrive at your destination. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

    The purchase of any travel services represents your acceptance Terms & Conditions set out herein. Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms & Conditions prior to booking.

    Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.

    Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Take tours for details.

    Cancellation penalties per person

    • 8-14 days or more prior to departure - 30% of total purchase amount.
    • 4-7 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    • Within 3 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    • Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    • Trips require a minimum number of participants to avoid cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel a schedule trip to fully refund affected customers although tour companies will make every efforts to maintain the normal operation.
    • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

    NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.

    Itinerary Variations
    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

    Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour.. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.

    We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
