    Day 1

    New York (9 miles)

    Today, guests will arrive at one of the there major airports in the New York City Area (JFK, LGA, EWR), where they will be met by a tour guide at the baggage claim. There is a complimentary shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. Guests who arrive at JFK or LGA before 3:00pm have the option to tour the Flushing, Queens at their own leisure, we'll provided free left-luggage so that you can go to Sky View Center much easily. Those arriving at EWR before 12:00 can go to the Jersey Garden Outlets Mall for an additional $10. All who arrive before 4:30pm can join an optional Night Tour of the city.

    Today, we will drive to Philadelphia to see Independence National Park, the location of Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. Afterwards, we will continue on our way to Washington DC to visit the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and the Korean War Memorial. We can also take some photos of the exteriors of the White House and the US Capitol. Then, we will visit the National Air and Space Museum, followed by a Potomac River Cruise, during which we will see the Washington Monument, the World War II Memorial, and the Thomas Jefferson Memorial.

    Today, we will drive north to Corning, NY to visit the Corning Museum of Glass. Then, we will continue to Niagara Falls to watch the IMAX Adventure. If there is time, we will also be able to take a Jet Boat Ride on the Niagara River. Afterwards, guests can explore on their own or take an in-depth tour of the area that visits places like Whirlpool State Park and Old Fort Niagara. At dusk, we will see the exciting Thundering Water Cultural Show.

    Montreal - Quebec - Boston (553 miles)

    In the morning, we will leave Montreal and drive to the nearby city of Quebec City, QC, one of the oldest cities in North America. In addition to touring the city, we will visit the Place Royale. We will also get a chance to take pictures at Cathedral-Basilica of Notre-Dame de Quebec, the famous Chateau Frontenac Hotel, and the Parliament Building. After the conclusion of our tour, we will head back across the border back into the US, making our way to Boston, MA in time for a Lobster Dinner (If the customs transit procedure caused overtime, the other meal will replace lobster Specials). After, we will head back for Boston.

    Our first stop of the day will be the Empire State Building so we can get a full view of the city we are about to explore. Then, we will take a Statue of Liberty Cruise that will take us to the base of Lady Liberty and the Brooklyn Bridge. After that, we will stop by the USS Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum. In the Financial District, we will visit the New York Stock Exchange, the Charging Bull, Trinity Church, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Times Square, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, and Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum. Later, on a bus tour, we will see Fifth Avenue, Rockefeller Center, the United Nations Headquarters, Ground Zero, and One World Trade Center.     Today we will drive north of the city. Our first stop will be the famous military academy, West Point, in the town of West Point, NY. At the end of the day, we will return to the New York City area to spend the night.

    Our morning tour of New York City will take us to the neighborhood of Harlem, where we will visit the Columbia University and Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Then, we will head to Times Square to see firsthand the world-famous New Year's Eve Countdown. Cheer with the entire world as the ball drops!

    There are a few options for how this last day could go. If guests book their departure flights before 2:00PM, they will be charged $120 per ride (maximum 4 passengers) for transportation to one of New York's 3 major airports. Guests who book their flights between 2:00PM and 7:00PM will not go shopping, but transferred to the airport in time, without charge. Guests who book their flights after 7:00PM will have a few options of how to spend their day:
    A. Go shopping at the Jersey Garden Outlet. The merchandises will be on sale for 20% to 70% savings with assorted designer and named brands.
    B. Experience to fly a plane at their own expense.(Participants must be at least 14 years old.Ages 14-18 need to be accompanied by an adult guardian.) Each participant will have approximately 60 minutes flight experience including 15 minutes pre-flying examination & instruction on the ground, 45 minutes driving a private aircraft. Participants are flying with FAA authorized flight instructor on the aircraft;3 people can experience driving the same aircraft, switching seats after stopping at airport. Participants do not need pilot's license and prior flying experience, and will be authorized a "First Flight" certificate.
    C.Experience shooting at own expense. (Participants must be at least 12 years old.Ages 12-18 need to be accompanied by an adult guardian.) Experience time is around 60 minutes, including 15 minutes principle explanation and shooting instruction. Each participant will have an opportunity to experience a 9mm caliber pistol and rifle, three shooting range targets, a box of 9mm ammunition (50 rounds). Each participant will receive a commemorative T-shirt and a set of protective gear.

    Booking changes
    A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply. Please be noted that we do not allow departure change 48 hours before departure.

    Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
    Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to TakeTours by email or through web mail at Contact Us .

    Tour Departure: This tour has 100% guaranteed departure; if the tour is cancelled there will be refund of 120%. Restrictions apply; due to weather conditions, State Emergencies, Airport Closures or anything beyond the control of the tour operator the 120% refund will NOT apply.

    Cancellation penalties per person for tours last 5 or more days(Notification day and departure day are not counted)

    • Up to 46 days prior to departure - 10% of total purchase amount.
    • 21-45 days prior to departure - 25% of total purchase amount.
    • 8-20 days prior to departure - 50% of total purchase amount.
    • 1-7 days prior to departure - 100% of total purchase amount.
    • Day of departure or no show - 100% per person.
    • Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit entire payment.
    • There is 6% handling fee add-on to the above penalties.

    We constantly strives to improve tour itineraries and features. If such improvements can be made, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary - we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels. At certain peak periods duplicate departures may operate, and sometimes in reverse order in which case hotels may vary from those stated on the itinerary pages.

    Tour Cancellation:
    We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, TakeTours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour..
