Day 1

Santa Croce, or Holy Cross, is considered to be one of the most important, interesting and beautiful churches in the whole of Italy. This unique structure houses the tombs of several Florentine and Italian masters such as Michelangelo, Machiavelli, Galileo Galilee, Rossini, and other important historical personalities.
Here you will find frescos by Giotto, a chapel designed by Brunelleschi works by Donatello and a monument dedicated to Dante Alighieri, author of the Divine Comedy. The tour starts in the main square, where the famous soccer game in medieval costumes, the Calcio Storico Florentino, takes place here every year in June.

Basilica of Santa Croce

The Basilica of Santa Croce, known as "the Temple of the Italian Glories," is the burial site of some most famous names in Italian history: Michelangelo, Galileo and Machiavelli, among others. Inside are frescoes by Gaddi and sculptures by Donatello.

Respect the dress code : no skimpy tops, spaghetti straps or bare midriffs are allowed inside. Shorts and skirts should be knee length to cover knees. Sleeveless or short-sleeved shirts are fine. If in doubt, carry a light shawl or long sleeve top to wrap around you when you go inside. Caps and hats should not be worn inside either.
A minimum of 5 guests is required for tour to operate.

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

Redemption

Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print and bring e-ticket(s) on your trip, as they serve as proof of purchase.

Terms & Condition

Cancellation Policy: Any Service reserved can be canceled without any charge up to 48 Hours before the tour start time.
If your reservation is not canceled 48 hours in advance, a full charge to your credit/debit card will be affected.
There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.
Subject to favorable weather conditions. If cancelled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
We reserve the right to modify the tour arrangements for smooth operation of the tour.
Some access areas may close according to the authorities without prior notification
