Day 1

Today we will go to visit the ancient Roman arena. Skip the long queues and we will be taken back in time when we visit the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. We will have a chance to learn about how the massive amphitheater is. After experiencing the impressive history at the Colosseum, we will walk over to Palatine Hill with your guide. From here we will get the chance to take some incredible photos of panoramic views over the Roman Forum, Colosseum, and Nero's Circus Maximus. After that we will wander between ancient Roman ruins, temples and palaces, as you make your way into the Roman Forum. We may discover sites including the House of Vestal Virgins and Caesar's Palace, while listening to our tour guide's insightful history on these civic places.

The history of this amazing city spans more than two and a half thousand years. It is one of the most historic places on the planet Earth, and it's artistic and cultural contributions have colored global development.

Colosseum

This nearly 2000-year-old structure is one of the most famous buildings in all of human history. At its height, it could hold up to 80,000 people, and was usually used for gladiatorial contests, executions, and drama productions.

Roman Forum

More commonly known as simply the "Forums," this ancient site was once a public square surrounded by active governmental buildings. The ruins go back at least as far as the eighth century BC and were the heart of ancient Rome.

Circus Maximus

This ancient stadium was used during the time of the Roman Empire to host chariot races. The site is now a public park, although the Rolling Stones did play a concert here in 2014.

Confirmation

All purchases are subject to re-confirmation within 2-3 business days after booking. Please do not book the airline tickets until you received the confirmation.

Redemption

You will receive an confirmation email (e-ticket) after your order is received. Complete operator information, including local telephone numbers at your destination, are included on your e-ticket. You must print the e-tickets and take them along on your trip; they are your proof of purchase.

Booking changes
A fee may be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed. Name changes or corrections may be treated as a cancellation and cancellation fees will apply. A change of tour date or tour itinerary may be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
Regardless of reason, cancellations result in costly charges from our travel and hotel providers covering penalties and fees incurred by canceling confirmed and pending bookings. Therefore, cancellation penalties and or fees will apply. Time of cancellation will be determined when notice is received and confirmed by our office. Notice of cancellation must be made directly to Taketours by email or through web mail at Contact Take tours for details.
NOTE: We cannot grant any refunds more than 30 days after completion of tour.
Itinerary Variations
We reserve the right to modify the tour arrangements for smooth operation of the tour.
Tour Cancellation:
We reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control. If cancellation is made any time prior to departure* of the tour, Taketours' only liability will be to refund to the passenger the amount it has received for the tour booking. We will try to re-book the same or similar tour. Please note that we are not liable for any cancellation penalties incurred on any other travel arrangements including air tickets purchased separately from customers.
We are not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations.
