Itinerary
Today, we will tour the amazing city of Rome on the back of hi-tech electric bicycles. This 4-hour guided tour will pass by the most iconic sites in the Eternal City while we enjoy the breeze and almost effortless travel. After guests have gathered at the specified departure location, we will begin our journey. Along the way, an expert guide will share personal stories and ensure that we get all the inside info about the architecture, art, history, and everyday life of Rome. This is the perfect tour for guests who wish to cover a large distance in just a few hours, taking us past locations like the Colosseum, the Pantheon, and other ancient sites as we meander the maze-like streets. Rome, Italy
The history of this amazing city spans more than two and a half thousand years. It is one of the most historic places on the planet Earth, and it's artistic and cultural contributions have colored global development.
Campo de' Fiori
The name of this square in Rome means "field of flowers" in English. The statue in the center depicts the Renaissance philosopher Giordano Bruno, who was burnt alive here for heresy against the Church.
Pantheon
Built in the year 126 AD, this famous piece of antiquity once served as a temple to all of the major Roman gods. One of the most well-preserved remnants of ancient Rome, it has been in almost constant use.
Piazza Navona
The site of this famous square was once the Stadium of Domitian in ancient times. The centerpiece of the piazza is the Fountain of the Four Rivers, which was designed by Bernini and features an Egyptian obelisk.
Spanish Steps
The famous Spanish Steps in Rome that connect the Piazza di Spagna and the Piazza Trinita dei Monti, dominated by the Trinita dei Monti church at the top.
Trevi Fountain
Perhaps the most famous fountain in the world, this baroque masterpiece from the 18th century is best known for the myth that tossing coins in brings good luck. People from all over the world come to throw money into the fountain.
Arch of Constantine
This triumphal arch in Rome has been standing for nearly 2,000 years. It commemorates the victory of Constantine I at the Battle of Milvian Bridge. It was built with brick and marble, and the detailing is incredibly intricate.
Capitoline Hill
One of the seven hills of Rome, the Capitoline was the citadel of the ancient city. The current layout at the top of the hill was designed in the Renaissance by celebrated artist Michelangelo.
Colosseum
This nearly 2000-year-old structure is one of the most famous buildings in all of human history. At its height, it could hold up to 80,000 people, and was usually used for gladiatorial contests, executions, and drama productions.
Piazza Venezia
Piazza Venezia is the city center of Rome and an important cultural and artistic feature in the city. The square is the sit of Italy's Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Altare Della Patria and rests at the foot of the Capitoline Hill, next to Trajan's Forum.

The payment is fully refundable if the reservation is cancelled 72 hours or more prior to the scheduled tour.
Cancellations received within 48 hours - 72 hours of departure will incur a penalty of 50% of total purchase amount.
The payment will not be refunded for any other reason (i.e. weather, change of travel plans, illness, missed train, etc.) within 48 hours of the scheduled tour.
The refund amount will be credited directly to your TakeTours wallet as credits for future use. Or the refund can also be forwarded directly to your credit card with a 6% handling fee.
